I will hopefully find out the gender of my 2nd child in 2 weeks! Yay! We have our girls names down to 3
Harlee Quinn, my son picked it because of his love for batman lol
Delilah Nicole
Stella Jane
As far as boys names we need much more deliberation lol
Blaise Alfred
Logan James
Bentley Earl
Im not to fond of any of the boys names, they all sound to ordinary to me!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I should add that Alfred is my husbands grandfathers middle name, my son is named after him(Stephen James) and James Earl was my fathers name. So they are family names :) as far as people teasing because of the name my son has a common name and it's always mispronounced people assume he's Stephan nope sorry it's STEPHEN even after I correct them they still do it!
Yes our top girl name of Harlee Quinn is from batman and if people ask I will proudly say yes it is:) i think my son did a good job
with that one considering he wanted Mystique or Black widow at first lol, and why are people so afraid of the unique names!? Nothing personal I would never name my child Samuel or christopher

Or jennifer or Sara! The only reaso I have a Stephen James is the name stephen ment alot to my husband and I gave in cause if
it were up to me alone he would have been Mirko :)
AND FOR THE RECORD I DON'T NEED COMMENTS ABOUT MY KID BEING TEASED OR HAVE A GAY SOUNDING NAME...I asked a simple question and got the rudest responses. I don't want a common name i HATE common names! I'm not an ordinary person, I don't want my kid to have just any everyday name like Sara
Or micheal blah! My son has a common name and kids tease him still.

I like Logan James. Delilah doesn't really flow with Nicole for me - and I like Delia better but then, I'm not the one picking :) Good luck in choosing!

If you want to stick with the comic theme...Logan James ( I think) is the name of Wolverine. I could be wrong, but I still like the sound of it and of Harlee Quinn, even if they have pop culture connections.

Please think hard before you saddle a girl with "Harlee Quinn." She's going to get teased by kids, and adults will bug you with "How cute" or "Why didn't you just name her the real word, 'Harlequin,'" or "Is that from Batman?" It sounds so cute now but think how she will feel about it when she's a preteen and up -- she would be within her rights to beg you to change it, frankly.

A Bentley (spelled with the E) is an extremely high-end automobile and sounds kind of overly grand to me. Why not just go with some combination of the family names Earl and Alfred and something like Logan or Blaise? I'm not nuts about Blaise either as it's sure original but again sounds kind of too much. I haven't seen a child named Earl in ages, and that name would work as well at 30 and 70 as at two -- something to consider for any name.

I love Stella Jane, it sounds quaint yet professional all at the same time.
I can hear myself say "Stella Jane! Get down from there right now!!"
Harlee Quinn sounds too much like the Harlequin novels.....
Bentley Earl is different, sounds like a fine English Tea.--- Ben E being the nickname for that one.

I'm sure you find the perfect name for your child. On first read to me,
Harlee Quinn sounds like Harlequin (a publisher of romance novels) and I am not sure about Blaise. It is the first name of a 16th century mathematician, Blaise Pascal, but it could be mispronounced as "blase" meaning "indifferent or unconcerned". Stella Jane would be my favorite for a girl and Logan for a boy!
Good luck!

I love Stella Jane! I would personally spell it Harley if you use it, that's how most people will assume it is, I have lived my entire life spelling and pronouncing my name and hated it, Harley is uncommon enough without changing the spelling. And I like Delia better than Delilah. Or I like Lila!

Logan is in the top five names this year so I'd stay away from it. Don't care for Blaise, spelling again on that one too. I love bentley, also maybe Landon, Leland, Blake, gentry, Adam (batman!), west, Weston, Grayson, Blaine, Carson, Donovan, Maddox, madsen, Hudson, Nathan, drew, Oliver, Tristan?

I didn't get the question, but here's a thought to consider: While Harlee Quinn sounds nice, think about what other kids will be saying in middle & high school - you don't want her to feel like the name you gave her led to much teasing (i.e., comparing your daughter to a motorcycle). Good luck choosing, & best wishes for a healthy baby who sleeps like an angel!

The things with ordinary names is that with everyone trying to go with unique names the unique names become ordinary. I think you should name your kid whatever you want! but if you want honesty I don't like any of those names except Logan James. I like old fashion names, such as Charlotte, or Sophia, or Grace for girls, and Christopher, Jacob, Nicholas for a boy

Good point several people have made about Harlee Quinn sounding like Harlequin. Harlee with another middle name would be nice. Delilah is cute, makes me think of that song "hey there Delilah..." Like someone else said, it doesn't really flow with Nicole. Too many L's. Stella Jane has a nice ring to it.

Blaise + Alfred is like new meets old. I picture Blaise as a gay man. I like Logan James. Bentley Earl sounds like the Earl of Bentley. A little too pretentious.

Love Harlee Quinn for a girl! Blaise is very original for a boy, too. I think you'll find the answer when you see your baby as opposed to complete strangers on this forum :-). He or she might "look" like a say, Bently or Harlee, etc.

Congrats and happy naming.

All your names sound wonderful! Blaise is definitely a unique name. :-) Not fond of 'Earl", but if it's a family name, it's understandable. :-D

Keep playing around with the names until you find one that you just can't do without. :-)

For me, Jayda Lyn was my girls name if we had a girl. But we have two gorgeous boys, Jonathan and Dawson. Both of them stem from my husband's name "David". Jonathan, in the Bible is the son of Saul and friend of David, while Dawson in the English origin, means "son of David". Neato huh.

I spent hours on the net searching for names and picking out several and having my husband talk with me about the names and so forth. It was fun.

Congrats to you! Finding out the gender is awesome! I found out the gender of my boys too when it was time. It was fun getting things ready for them. :-D
