Xs Maternity Clothes

does anyone know of good places to find inexpensive maternity clothes in size xs? i have some old navy stuff from my 1st pregnancy that is just falling apart, so i'm not really into buying more old navy stuff, but can't afford much of the cute boutique clothes and target/mimi/pea in a pod/etc usually their small sizes are too big. are there any notable maternity consigment stores in the plano/richardson area?? or even around greenville/walnut hill? i sure would love some cute designer jeans! :)

What can I do next?

Hi E.,

Have you looked at Walmart?
They usually have really cute maternity jeans and I was able to find some non maternity shirts there that were stretchy and covered my stomach better than the maternity clothes I did buy.
They worked really well up until my 40 weeks of pregnancy and were alot more affordable than maternity clothes.

Good luck and hope you find some good deals.

my pg co-worker, who is very small, bought her Seven maternity jeans at Pea in a Pod. If you want designer maternity jeans, I'm not sure you can find them new anywhere else but a boutique.

when my very small cousin was pg, she didn't buy maternity, she just bought a size bigger in non-maternity clothes. I did that a lot too when I was pg.

At KID TO KID (McDermott& ALma or near 75) there are some xs maternity clothes and you can get a Kids Directory at the door that will advertise several more resale shops. I go to the KID TO KID at Parker and Midway; good selection. Craigslist.com is also a good place to find what you are looking for. You might try Nordstrum Rack also. They don't carry maternity but I was able to get some cute clothes that will work.

Try "Once Upon A Child", its a consignment store.

If you are up for driving Motherhood Maternity has an outlet store in Grapevine Mills mall that is WONDERFUL. very cute clothes and good prices (but you can't return anything that is on clearance). Lots of variety there too!

I am very tall and found that maternity clothes were too short most of the time. I would get a full size larger than my size and they worked until the very end, where you would probably be able to wear a small at Target or other less expensive places. I would try on some clothes that are not maternity, and see if a larger size would work for your tummy? S., mom with two wild kiddos :-)

The Baby Style store in Willowbend Mall is closing so it has all it's apparel 50% off. I was there last weekend and they still had a big selection of designer jeans ranging from $80-180 originally, but now 50% off.
