Probably as long as it was slated early enough so that preps for the evening festivities wouldnt be interrupted. Some people throw NY eve parties and might need the entire day to ready for it, so keep that in mind.
If it's for kids and moms can "drop" their children, they might LOVE that convenience in some cases?

I would as long as it was over by 3:00 or so. I would want to have plenty of time to get ready to go out for the evening.

I would go. However, if you asked me 10 years ago, I would of said no because of my plans for the day and evening. I think it depends on the people you plan on inviting. If you plan on inviting a lot of parents and small kids, then I think you will get a great turn out. If you are inviting a bunch of single 20 somethings, I don't know if you would get the same response.

Yep, as long as it didn't go past 5 or so, so that the adults can do their plans too.

Yes. If it's a kids' party make sure that the adults will be home in time to get ready if they plan to go out.

I probably would, but remember a lot of people may still be traveling or doing family activities together since they most likely have work off. Or if they have plans for that night, they may be getting ready for it.

I would. But a lot of people travel so you may have people getting ready for other events or just prepping kids for a long night.

Oh yeah I would.

Also a suggestion if you don't have a theme yet...a friend of mine did a "countdown to noon" party for her preschooler and her friends one year on new year's eve and it was super cute. You could easily do that as a birthday party too! Have a couple crafts from around the world on how other people celebrate new years or birthdays then do a huge celebration at 12 noon with horns, etc. and then do cake and presents. Could be really cute!

I would if New Year's Eve were on a Saturday or Sunday--it's on a Friday this year. Gotta work. However, if you are a stay at home mom and your child's friends all have stay at home parents then I don't see why your party wouldn't be a big success! Especially if the parents can drop the kiddos off. They can go get errands done before any possible New Years Eve plans they may have. Good luck!
