Would Really like to Start a Biblically Based Mom's Group

Hi there, I would really like to get together with other moms on a regular basis. Maybe starting out at twice a month. I am a Christian and I love the Lord, love reading the bible and love to minister to other moms and women. This would be a biblically based group for any woman that is curious about Christianity, or any woman who wants to strengthen her faith in the Lord. I also love to drink tea, so I thought it would be fun to have tea, coffee, some baked goodies and to just get to know each other and share each others joys and burdens. I live in Pickerington, Ohio.

What can I do next?

i would be interested, please let me know if you start one up.

Hi N.,

I have never been part of a moms group but may be interested.
Would you plan to meet during the day or in the evening? I too live in Pickerington and the mother of 4.

Thanks
L.

Hi, N.! Don't know if you would be interested but I teach an 8-week course called Bible for Blondes. :-) I've taught the course in public school buildings and churches and would be willing to have a course in a home. I am currently teaching in Canal Winchester and am on week 7 tonight--weather permitting! I realize this wouldn't be a "moms" group but it is a lot of fun and we learn a ton so I thought I'd let you know. My 14 year old daughter will babysit during class. www.bibleforblondes.org or www.followgrace.org :-)

Hi,
I live in Blacklick & am involved in a church plant in that area. We have a group of moms that meets in Reynoldsburg every Fri morning, right now we are in the middle of a study called "Contagious Community."
You can check out info about our church, called New Life Community Church online at www.startanewlife.org

i was wondering if you ever got the group started, i would be very interested in coming if you have, or helping you start one if you havent :) let me know
thanks T.

I like this idea and would like to fellowship with you. I live in Reynoldsburg. I too have a son that came later in life. My miracle baby. Being a SAHM is hard on us financially and me mentally. I feel as if I'm not contributing to the family. Right now we don't have a church we attend. The one we formerly attended in Pickerington ended and we have never found a new church home. We are wandering in the wilderness and I have an almost 7 month old baby in tow. I never thought that my baby would not be raised in church. I love God with all of my heart and my heart is very tender towards Him. Thank you for your post. It was wonderful to wake up this morning and read your post over a cup of coffee! :)

Blessings,
Jacq

Hi N.,
I was wondering if you ever got a group started. I have been in and out of several different churches here, just haven't found one like the one I grew up in while in Cincinnati. I would like to be a part of this study if you have a group. Please let me know. I have a 3 year old and a second on the way.
