Would Love Some Good Local Birthday Party Ideas for My Soon-to-be 8 y.o. Girl

Hi! I would love some fun birthday party locations for my daughter's upcoming birthday in August. We spend enough time at home, so I'd like a place that provides some entertainment, activity, etc. I prefer indoors just because late August usually is a bit uncomfortable outside for longer periods unless we're at the pool (which I don't want to take on the liability for). Did trail riding last year and it was just too hot! Any fun suggestions would be appreciated!

What can I do next?

Pump it Up is a fun, indoor birthday party. There is one near Brier Creek. There are also hair salons, geared towards kids, that do little girl birthday parties. Local museums also do birthday parties for various ages. Just some suggestions. Good luck!

Sorry for the late reply, but the Museum of Natural Science really does some fun parties. You can check on the different types but they are hands on and I believe will also do some relating to the butterfly release room also.
But if she is into dressing up, you can always book at a tea house and have everyone wear hats, etc. It seems like she is heading to an age where this could safely be accomplished.
Also, I have heard of someone doing a cooking class party but don;t remember the company they used, just do an online search and see what comes up for that if it sounds interesting.
I am from Raleigh and have a 2 year old boy and expecting a second in late October and also had children later than you did. it is great isn't it?
Best of luck with the party planning.

Museum of Life and Science has some great b-day options. In Cary, Bullwinkles can be fun. Bowling at Mardi Gras, (especially when they turn out the lights and have these crazy black lights and neon) was great. My daughter has enjoyed these options. Hope they help.
