Working mom, recently came from CA. Do not know of good entertainment places for my kids, as beaches, lakes, or parks (specially with this hot weather). I live in Springdale. Thanks.

What can I do next?

I would suggest the book "Kids Love Ohio". It tells about all the great places to visit with kids in Ohio. Here's a link to the book on Amazon:

I have one daughter and we live in Greenhills. I take her to Winton Woods, Parky's Farm, Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Museum (They have free Fridays once a month in the summer and I think the next one is July 27th), Cincinnati Roller Girls (cincinnatirollergirls.com), Sawyer Point, Cincinnati Mills Mall (The Wonder Park), Colerain Park (The one with the wooden play set) My daughter loves it. Good Luck!

I used to live in CA too! Of course there's no real beaches around here, but there are lots of fun things to do. Kings Island season passes are great to have, and the water park and Nickelodeon Universe are especially fun for kids. We had passes last year and used them a LOT. We decided to get Beach waterpark passes this year instead and we miss Kings Island! Cincinnati also has a great park system and library system which both have lots of cool programs over the summer. Go to GreatParks.org to check out the parks and www.cincinnatilibrary.org for more information. The zoo and museum center are great too. There's also Coney Island. If you like lakes, you could try Caesar's Creek State Park near Waynesville or Cowan Lake in Clarksville(both within an hour's drive). Have fun exploring with your kids!
