Does anyone know of a material or brand of clothing that absorbs sweat? I have been trying to workout and don't like the feeling on my shirt being wet. I came home the other day and you could just see the sweat circle on the back, YUK!

The Under Armour line is pretty good at 'wicking' sweat away from your body and drying very fast. By the time I walked from the gym to my car I would be dry. The last time I went shopping for workout clothes I realized that all of the good stuff is really expensive, but mostly worth it.

the material that you want in your work-out clothes is called different things depending on the brand- addidas calls it climafit, nike drifit, so when you go shopping, just look for wicking material and that will help with the sweating- so no more cotton shirts when you work out. anything "coolmax" is great too. Check www.sierratradingpost.com for lots of steeply discounted workout clothes. (also outdoor clothes, shoes, etc - great spot).
I've seen clothes like this at sporting goods stores. I recently looked at Dick's for jogging shorts and I'm pretty sure I saw some tops and bottoms that absorb sweat. I'm sure if you go into a sporting goods store, they'll be able to point you in the right direction.
My friend is obsessed with Nike Drifit outfits. She swears by it, even for her bikram yoga classes.
