Working Mom Seeking Play Group for 10Mo

I understand how you feel. I went through the same thing when my daughter was 1-2 years old. There aren't very many toddlers in my immediate neighborhood. She just turned 3, however, and has friends at daycare, but I still seek playmates for her on Saturdays. I also have a 3 month old but am always up for getting together with other mothers and their child(ren). I have met a few mothers with toddlers through this website, yet they must be busier than I am for they don't seem to have as much time to get together on weekends. Oh well! I just wanted to let you know there is another website I found where a Savannah mother listed she was looking for a playmate for her 11 month old. She lives downtown. Let me know if you're interested in learning about it!

A., I understand your situation. I've only been in Savannah for a year and a half and I still feel new to the area. Other than birthday parties my daughter gets invited to, I feel that she doesn't get much socializing outside of preschool. Sorry our kids aren't really the same age, or I'd suggest a playdate. My daughter is 4 1/2 but loves babies, so if you're desperate for some Barbie or jungle gym time, let me know!

My daughter will play with your daughter. I might even bring along my roommate's son. lol
