Does anyone know of a job that I could do from home. I do not really know what to look for. There are so many scams out there. I am home all day with the two little ones but I would like to have something to make a little extra spending money. So if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks Ladies.

Hi T.,

My suggestion would be to start with some research. ABCNews.com has a section on their website dedicated to work-at-home ideas. One of the sections has a list of companies that are outsourcing their customer service centers. The website also covers some of the scams out there as well.

Good luck! I wish you the very best in your search!

I have been with Work at Home United for 4 years and love the flexibility to be at home to raise my 2 children and have completely replaced and far exceeded what I used to make as an elementary school teacher.
I work completely from home, no investing, no telemarketing, just dialing guests into overview calls and setting up online accounts that the corporate office services.
You can read some reviews from other mamasource moms I have helped work from home by going under the local business reviews and looking under home business then find my Work at Home United reviews from Corinth.
You can request information at my website then I will call you to schedule a phone overview, no pressure, no sales, just the information you need to make an informed decision for your family. Feel free to call me at ###-###-#### to schedule an appt to hear the information. :)

I have a home based business with a wonderful company who believes in a healthy home and healthy planet. You can make a little or a lot of money, but you can also make a difference in the lives of your family, friends and the community. I would love to discuss the options with you. Or you can go to www.goshaklee.info and view some videos about the company. Once you have watched all 6 of the videos, there is a 5 quesion survey. You will be entered in a drawing for $200 worth of Shaklee products. To access the site, the password is ja64730. The site will send me a message that you have accessed the site and then I will be able to get back with you. My personal web site is www.shaklee.net/betsy_snethen. You can also contact me through my web site. I would love to talk to you. I use the products and can't say enough good things. Hope to hear from you soon, B.

Hello!
I am a married mom of 2 little ones under 4. I have 2 businesses---1 store-front boutique in North Dallas and the other is an online travel business. I have to tell you---the 2nd one was only a $500 investment and its paying the bills for the 1st that was way too much to mention. I get a check every Monday doing what my family/friends were already doing---traveling. I have an incredible suppport system of other entrepreneurial mothers who are maintaining a "Plan B" in case of any unexpected events. We are all smart. serious. and believe in being financially free. We all want the freedom to spend time with our children and spouses, the freedom to take our businesses as far as we can go, and the freedom to vacation on a whim. We are a unique group of business owners, spreading the word of creating wealth from the comforts of our home. If you want to hear more about it, you can email me directly at ____@____.com
All the best with whatever you decide!

Hi T.,
I am sure you have gotten a lot of responses thus far but I thought I would just add my experience to the list. I have been working from home now for over 5 years, and I have been able to replace 2 full time incomes doing it. I have replaced my full time teaching income and my husband previous income as well. I will never have to leave my 2 girls to re-enter the corporate work force. :) I love what I do, and the best part is that I don't have to do the typical: I am NOT a distributor, and I do not stock inventory, take orders, pass out catalogs, pressure people, or do parties. I also did not have to invest a lot to start, there is no risk, and the tax benefits are great. I mainly use my phone and computer. I was housebound when I started and could still do this. The best part is the fact that the company is credentialed, BBB Hall of Fame and very reputable, which is what I searched for through all of the options out there. And it is NOT MLM. If you would like to talk further, you are welcome to email me privately. I would be happy to just share the info without pressure or obligation, just so you know all of your options. Good luck with your search!

Hi T.,
I have been with Shaklee Corporation for almost 15 years. I started as a consumer because of some serious health issues. The results I got and the integrity of Shaklee made me what to know more and I decided to join the business. At first, I had small children like you and only worked 1-2 hours per week. That brought in about $200 per month. Now I spent 5-10 hours per week and earn around $1000 to $1500. People who focus more on the business earn much more than I do. I just like to help people one-on-one.
Here's a link to a great video:

I agree with Andrea. Do some research and check out the compensation plans on all of these businesses. I own an online store, www.leblancpromotions.com, which is powered by Quixtar. You can check it out with the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission. I love it because I don't only sell, skin care (among top 4 prestige brands) or vitamin/nutrition products (#1 multivitamin) but anything you normally buy at Walmart or wherever. Everything in our house is bought from our own business. Let me know if you'd like more info. Best of luck in your research!

Hi T., I regularly read Frisco Online, Frisco-online.Com, its a forum, anyway here is a posting that I read last week regarding a LEGIT work at home job: here is the link to apply

http://www.hrccjobs.com/career.htm

read her post below. good luck!! D. :)

I just started working for ____@____.com do reservations from home and it seems to be a great job so far. They are hiring again for part time agents and have 2 day time training classes coming up as well as a night time one. It pays 7.00 an hour in training and 8.25 an hour after training. Click on the link below and then choose the daytime or nighttime training links for more info. Let me know if you have questions. I thought I would post this since it's nearly impossible to find a legit work at home job!

PM me and I'll give you my name to put me as a referral and let me know your name too in case the recruiter asks about you. He told me they need lots of new applicants.

Hilton @ Home

ETA- I thought I would answer some of the questions I'm getting from PM's on here-

Work Hours- The shifts range from 6am to midnight. It will vary. When you go in for orientation (after interview and testing) you will choose a shift from a list they have. Once you have been there 6 months you have more flexibility to tailor your shift to your needs. My neighbor works part time and works 8:30 to 12:30 and I work full time from 3:30 to midnight. Our days off are Friday and Saturday but that might vary also.

Where are they located- I take the tollway to Keller Springs and go under the Addison Tunnel and they are off of Midway and Keller Springs on Chennault.

Do they have night training- Yes, click on the evening link and the training is from 6-11pm.

Training Times- Training is 7wks M-F. They have 2 day classes which are 8:30-1:30 and 9:30-2:30. They also have a 6-11pm night class.

Hi T.!

I'm sure you'll get some wonderful responses to your requests. I'm going to put in my two cents to help guide you because there are a lot of great choices. I would definitely look at the direct sales industry first because it allows the ability to invest very little and leverage your time, something that is important if you have small children. It also allows you to get out of the house on your own and mingle with adults, also important when you have small children. The first thing to do is look at what is exciting and interesting to you as this will help you overcome any concerns about sales If you are excited about your product, you won't have any trouble recommending it. It is best if the product you choose is consumable because of the repeated sales. Then, find out about the retail profit, and what your expenses will be. Some pay 50% retail profit, but don't give you a good hostess program with which to attract party. Check on the residual income - find out how long it takes the average person to get to the level of income you want. Also, find out how much you need to order each month in order to get paid residual income.

I'd start by looking at the websites of the ladies that respond to you - find the one that is most interesting to you and then contact her. Of course, start with mine :) One of mine is a skin care company that just launched this week (very groundfloor!) and my site is www.votrevu.com/glow The other is a powerful food that virtually every man, woman, and child can use - www.thegreatproduct.com/richerlife.

I've been in direct sales for 15 years, including seven with Southern Living at HOME, and I'm happy to help you find the best choice for you.

Fondly,
E. Lorenzo
