This is just a little advice from a work at home mom. I spend most of my time worried about not getting my work done or worried about being a bad mother because I can't give my son the attention he deserves. You may want to consider a weekend or evening job when your husband can watch the kids - at least until you pay down your bills.
Having said that, I agree with another mom that if you go the work at home route, you should try doing something that relates to your previous experiences.

Goggle Apex work from home - they are LEGIT and offer customer service jobs for major companies such as Sprint, etc and you can work full or part time. My niece did this and it worked out well.

medical transcription. They are in high demand, work from home, but do require some training in not only transcription, but on the software the hospital and/or physician uses.
Can be stressful depending on back log. Check into your local medical centers to see what they may have available and require. I know a lot of the medical transcriptionists for our hosptial did work from home in the evenings/weekends.
