I've been out of work for a year now after having my baby.. I want to earn my own money to contribute to the household.. But I really don't have the option to leave my daughter.. I have tried looking for work at home stuff but they all turned out to be scams.. If you have any ideas please let me know :)

What can I do next?

If you're looking to work but aren't willing to do daycare, you might offer babysitting services out of your home. Yes, most of those "Earn $1,000 a month stuffing envelopes at home" things are scams, and real jobs that offer the option to work from home don't mean no childcare. You can't be doing a job and taking care of a baby at the same time. One will be getting done and the other won't.

I have tried a LOT of home businesses over the years. Some were scams; some just didn't work for me. I have only made money with two companies. The first is Arbonne (http://APerfectMoment.MyArbonne.com) and the second is Take Shape for Life (http://www.BeFitforLife.tsfl.com). These are both companies I was a customer for first and saw the amazing benefits of and that is what prompted me to work with them as businesses.

Please feel free to look at the websites and message me if you have any questions.

grrrr. i just had a whole post written and my son came and hit the computer and deleted it.

ok. here we go again. there ARE ways to work from home. but they are not the same as work outside the home jobs. trust me, i have tried babysitting, running an in-home daycare, selling my crafts, selling avon, online paid surveys, mystery shopper, etc. none of those worked for me the way that i needed them too. they DO work for some people, it just wasnt consistent enough for me personally.

I DO work from home now. it work with a team of other moms and a wellness company. it is pretty easy, but also not get rich quick. anything you see that proclaims you are going to make thousands of dollars right away is a scam. I dont make a ton of money, i have brought in about $2000 in the passed year or so. But i really enjoy it because i like talking with people and i have learned a lot about health, and that is something that i really care about.

i dont know if any of that sounds like something you would like at all. if it does, you can get more info at http://www.PerfectWorkForMoms.com but if not i wish you all the best of luck in anything that you do! just make sure that you actually TALK to someone about the job. not just over e-mail, too much of that is scam! you need to know you can call with questions!

B.,
There are MLM's out there that are NOT scams. I have my own business and it is an MLM. Just be sure to do a lot of google research on whatever company sounds of interest to you.

Summer is a great time to help people who are out of town. Watering the yard, checking on a pet, etc... A great way to earn a little extra money. Put the word out to everyone you know that you are looking for ways to earn a few extra dollars from home. You may be surprised what will present itself to you.

What kind of work did you do before your daughter was born? Would it translate well into something you can do at home?

There are real companies out there that offer real work. I worked for ACS/Xerox for a year. I hate MILM's. I will never do those again. Don't lose hope. Keep looking or start your own business.
