Winter Coat - Maternity

I'm due on 1/29/08 so will be in my last trimester during the winter. Could anyone recommend a warm (I am outside for about an hour a day) winter maternity coat or brand? Thanks!

What can I do next?

I have a beige Calvin Klein coat for sale. It's in very good condition and it's VERY warm. Has two pockets in the front. I'm selling it for $20.00. If you're interested, email me at ____@____.com and I could email u a picture of it.

I got a wonderful and very warm winter coat from Old Navy for only $30. My first child was born in January 2006. I've worn the coat even when not pregnant, I like it so much. It's not an obvious maternity coat, which I liked. Good luck!

Hi A.!
When I was pregnant I bought a Columbia coat 1 size bigger adn it fit well and kept me warm. They're really warm without all the bulk - exactly what you don't need when you're feeling like a blimp! It has an adjustable waist so I could take it out as I expanded. I ended up wearing it the next winter with the waist pulled all the way in! You can find sales on them every so often, but they last a long time so I think they're worth the money.

If you want something really nice Gap has great ones. Otherwise, if you want something a little cheaper Old navy has down vests and coats that aren't that expensive. I have both b/c my last pregnancy lasted until spring and I needed different jackets but Old navy would probably due for an early winter baby.

I bought a wool wrap coat from Gap last winter when I was pregnant. It was really warm, and only on the absolutely frigid days around zero did I have to layer with a vest underneath. It was a little pricey, but well worth it since I'll probably need it next time around too. It's stylish enough that I'll probably have it cut down to wear afterwards.

Hi- I just read in Elle magazine's new Maternity-wear section (edited by the editor who was on Project Runway if you watched that) and she had a nice coat that doubled when baby was born and you are wearing the baby bjorn carrier on the outs of it too. Anyway, it looked really functional. My son was born in April and I was wearing my old peacoat that had an A-line so it gave me more room, surprisingly. I also wore a man's windbreaker (zipped) under my parka (unzipped of course) and that worked really well on the dog walks.!!

I found a great down maternity coat at mimi maternity. I have worn it since then when not pregnant and you can't even tell. They might have something.
