I just got my tax rebate and it was only alittle over $400 I thought the minimum was supposed to be $600 did anyone else get a lower amount if filling single??

What can I do next?

I'm not sure on the amounts, but I think since your son was born this year, you wouldn't get a rebate for him because he wasn't on your taxes last year.

You can go to IRS.gov and they have a formula for you to figure rebate. You need your tax return handy when you do the worksheet.

It is "up to $600 per adult." That doesn't mean it will be $600 per adult. It depends on your wages, too.

The Economic Stimulus checks are supposed to be $600.00 per adult and an additional $300.00 per child.
