Who Would Benefit the Most from LOTS of Makeup/skincare Samples?

My MIL has given me lots of makeup/skincare samples over the last year or so. No matter how many I use, they just keep multiplying. They are a gold mine for some lucky person/group but do you have any ideas of an organization that could use them? Thanks everyone!

What can I do next?

I'd contact Dress for Success, which provides suits/other tools for underprivileged women when they go on job interviews.

A shelter is a good place to donate but also look for organizations that help women dress for job searching and interviews. These products woyld a stepping stone towards a wonderful journey.

Most cities have a group that helps women get back on their feet, get an interview suit, etc. They would probably be happy to have makeup, too.

If there is a homeless shelter in your area that would be a great place to donate them. Also battered women's shelters.

I would donate them to the Women's Shelter. Those women go to the shelter sometimes with only the clothes they are wearing.

Around here, the staff does everything possible to help them get a job, get back on their feet and stable again. We've donated a lot of our things to our local women's shelter.

IF they have been opened and used at all, they need to be pitched. ONLY send in things that have been unopened and unused.

Why not donate them to a women's shelter?

Have they been opened or used? If they are new and unopened donate them to a shelter.

If they have been opened or used and you no longer want them toss them out. Make-up can build bacteria and cause infections, you should never share make-up with anyone.

Your local W.'s shelter. Call in advance and let them know what you have and when you can take it in.

I would find a local Dress for Success...

they help women getting back in the work force. They might need something like that.

Good luck!

I would donate to a domestic violence shelter or a homeless shelter for families. Many of those women just "need" to feel pretty and some are going to job interviews and things. You always do better when you feel pretty!
