White T-shirts for Gym

you could try boy's t-shirts instead as they seem to be somewhat thicker and also for gym days, she could wear black t-shirt bras or black camisoles - those rarely show up under clothing.
You could also try buying the t-shirts in winter - the ones being sold then seem thicker to me!

I'm not sure about where to find thicker t-shirts, but I would suggest that she wear a skin colored bra. It's amazing how much a white or colored bra can show up under a white t-shirt! Good luck with your search :)

Maybe she could wear a sports bra for gym. Seems like more women and girls are less self-conscious if all that's showing is the tank strap of a sports bra no matter what color it is. Especially if it's a very different color like black or a bright color because then it just looks like you're wearing a tank underneath.

I remember being the same way! Does she wear the nude-colored bras instead of white or other colored bras when wearing white t-shirts? With me, if it was a white shirt, I had to wear the nude/beige bra.

You mentioned that this was during gym. Maybe she can keep a certain bra in her locker just for that school period. That is, unless you end up finding thicker white T-shirts.

Have you tried Lands End. www.landsend.com They usually have heavy good quality t-shirts. Also, a beige bra or camisole will not show nearly as much as a white one under a white t-shirt.

LL Bean is also a great source for wonderful t-shirts. You can sometimes get discounted ones through Sierratradingpost.com.

I would try the boy's section! I think it's Hanes, but one of the standard, white undershirts is exceptionally thick.

Maybe a short-sleeved or sleeveless dance leotard under her required gym outfit would help?
