Hi - I want to take pictures of my kiddos these weekend in their Easter outfits, but I would like to stay in Frisco, Carrollton, The Colony (that region). I know about the arboretum, but I don't want to drive that far... Any ideas of places with flowers or benches, etc?

What can I do next?

The Little Chapel in the Woods at TWU in Denton has flowers, benches, water areas, rocky areas, etc. Very nice & not as far as Dallas.

Central Park in Frisco is pretty and has some nice places for pictures. It is on the left side of Parkwood just north of the mall. You will see the statues of the longhorn cattle running down the hill....the park is behind those cattle.

Also, in Carrollton, there is a nice park on Valley View (near 35)....it is next to one of the City buildings. Going on Valley View west toward 35, it is on the left side (south side of Valley View). There is also the Historical Park of Farmers Branch....really pretty place (and you should check it out at Christmas time).

I believe the name of the park is Frisco Center Park. It is on Parkwood in Frisco. You will see the big bronze long horn cattle on the side of the road. That is where we do our family pictures and they turn out great.
