Where to Get Good Towels? Just Dyed Towels and They Didn't Come Out Good!

Hoping ya'll can help me. I bought sage towels at Kohls I really liked (discounted helped too). Anyway, I started seeing blotches (lighter discoloration) and attempted to dye. No luck. Now they are apple green. Where did ya'll get towels you're happy with? Not sure if I want to spend the high dollar some Bed Bath & Beyond towels cost, but is it worth it? Open to other stores too. Just want good towels. Thx girls!

I ended up going to Bed Bath and Beyond and finding rugs and towels for a great price. I love it when I find the color on sale plus have a coupon! Wal-mart and the other suggestions were great ones, yet I've discovered there are so many colors of green and Bed Bath had what I wanted. Thanks again and Take care.

I was impressed with Targets line of towels, they have several different lines and much more affordable than most department stores, and very comparable. Nice sized heavy towels. Plus was super happy with they hold their color well.

Addressing the blotches of lighter color:

When I first got my high efficiency washer, I found that some of the detergents that had bleach in them discolored my towels. I think it had something to do with the fact that the machine uses very little water. I'm more careful with dark/colored loads now.

M., I buy my towels from Walmart. They are soft and never fade. You will save lots of money shopping at Walmart. GOD'S richest blessings to you.

I have bought towels from bed, bath and beyond and Never have had a problems with them as well as Dillards.

Bed bath and beyond sends out 20% disounts on a regular basis so that really helps.

Just a thought - does anyone use acne stuff with peroxide in it (like Clearasil)? I totally bleached towels and pillowcases, even after having washed my face. Maybe another skin care product? (I do like the towels I got a BB&B - do you get those 20% off coupons in the mail?)

If you have a membership to Costco or know someone who does, check out their towels. Of course you won't find a huge variety in styles but they have several different colors. They are reasonablly priced and I've been happy with the ones I bought recently.
