Where to Get Ears Pierced - Edmond,OK

My 4 year old has been asking to get her ears pierced. Now the big question is where? I had a bad experience at Claire's years ago, so I would like to stay away from there. I called my peditrician and she does not do it. Any suggestions for the OKC/Edmond area? I would even be willing to drive if it was a good place. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

My ped is at Mercy Health Edmond on Memorial. I've seen posters up about ear piercing in the office. You might give them a call...there are several peds and family docs there.

I have to agree with Becky, call Mercy Health on Memorial. That's where my daughter goes...she doesn't have her ears pierced but I've see the posters too...you can't beat a medical professional for being clean and knowing kids

Sweet and Sassy kid's spa (near the Target at 2nd and Bryant)does piercings. I don't know how much training they get, but you could call and ask some questions.

This is going to sound funny, but call around to some of the local shops that do body piercing. If they'll pierce belly buttons and tounges, I'm sure they'll do ears as well, lol. I'm not sure what kind of age stipulations they have at the shops, but it's worth a shot, and if they can't do it there, they usually have really good reccomendations on where the best place to take your little one would be.

I think I got my girls' done at Icing in Quail, and they were pretty good. The problem with those places is that it just depends on who's working there, but the equipment & size of earrings have come a long way in recent years too. You could try a reputable tattoo/piercing shop instead - 23rd Street Piercing is a little out of your way, but they're good peeps :]
