Where to Get a Decent Raincoat for a Child?
I've been looking for a new one, maybe even something with a liner, but all Target, WalMart and Kohls have are those plastic junky ones.
Any suggestions?
So What Happened?™
Thanks all - found one at Kohls. Pricey but on sale and had a 30% off coupon plus Kohls cash! Woo hoo.

My DD's raincoat is from LLBean. It ran a little big (18 mo was more like 2T) but I'm very happy with the quality of the coat. Got it for something like $20 on sale and it even has a reflector pattern on it for low-light situations.

I went to REI. I got a quality raincoat for my daughter on sale. But even then it was $40.00. We needed it for girl scout camp. Of course then it didn't rain, but we can use if for a fall jacket or on rainy days like today.

I'll second Landsend. We shop REI sales but that might just be west coast.

REI, DICKS, Lands End, Internet, and Gander Mountain. I put my daughter in a eco-friendly, inter-generational Pre-school where MOST of the school day is spent outdoors learning. If there is NO thunder or lightning, they are out there in the pouring rain and I tell ya, those Target ones are as good as a garbage bag with a hole in it. I got mine off the internet from an obscure company. Called Tootsies... It works ok, so when i realized that she was cold as well as wet I broke down and spent the high prices at REI, complete with rain foot gear. It was costly VERY costly but I am glad I made the investment, She is warm and cozy and dry!!!
