Hello, it is time for my son to get his 1st haircut and I can't seem to find anywhere online that would specialize with cutting children's hair. Does anyone have a suggestion of a good place in the Cy-Fair area?

My mom cuts hair at LL Hair Studio which is located at Hwy 6 & West Rd in the Sears Hardware strip center. She use to own the salon and then sold it in the summer, but is still the Master Stylists there. Her name is Lorie and she has been cutting my son's hair since he was born.
I took my son to Cool Cuts 4 Kids in the Copperfield area. It is located on Hwy 6 close to Hwy 529. It is geared for little ones. They have a car and a small fire engine for them to sit on. They can also watch a movie while they cut there hair.
It worked for my son.

There is a place on Hwy 6 & 529 called Cool cuts and they do kids cuts and for my sons first hair cut they took a Polaroid and put some of his hair in alittle keep sake, it was neat.
Definately go to Cool Cuts for Kids at Hwy 6 and 529. It's next to Souper Salad. You can get to their website here www.coolcuts4kids.com . They let the kids sit in little cars or a train to get their haircut if they can handle it. Plus they have TV's for them to watch and distract them from the haircut. We get our daughter's haircut there and she loves it. The only thing is that they have to have shoes on to sit in the car and train salon chairs. I would definately check it out if I were you.

I always take my children to cool cuts. they only cut kids hair and they are wonderful. they are very experienced with fidgety children and are very patient. also i think they have something for first cuts...like a certificate or something. There is one located at 529 and hwy 6 behind Chuck E. Cheese. Hope this helps.

I couldn't afford 'cool cuts 4 kids' so we just took my son to "Great Clips" and they have a special first cut keepsake card that they put his first clipping in and it's dated.
I take my 2 youngest to CoolCuts off of Hwy 6. I even have a regular woman who always does my children's cuts. It's great for kids...check out the website!

Along with Cool Cuts in the Copperfield area, there is also Playhouse Cuts on Jones Rd at Grant.

Find a Cool Cuts for Kids! They are set up just for kiddos. There is one at 529 and Hwy 6. (near old navy). I took my oldest there for a long time. Now he is too "old" for it..lol
Really though, they do a wonderful job.

You can go to Cool Cuts for kids. They are located at 6775 Highway 6 N. at FM 529. They are in the Marshall's / Bed, Bath & Beyond shopping center. I am including their number and hours: ###-###-####, M-F 10-8, Sat 9-7, Sun 11-5
They have Thomas the Train toys, Nintendo Game Cube and all of the haircutting stations feature a car for the kids to sit in. You can pick a movie to watch. This helps with distracting the kids. The staff is friendly and I highly recommend this place.
