Where Do You Take Your Child? Need a Daycare, Not a Playpen in Lewisville. :)

We like Children's Courtyard on Round Grove (3040) and Edmonds - I think it's the same one Christine is talking about. It's the Willow Grove Lab School, which means they serve as the training center for other Courtyards. Which means that they have some of the most experienced, well trained teachers in the system. It is definitely a learning environment. They are NAEYC certified too.

I have also heard good things about other Courtyards in Lewisville, and there are a few of them, so you should be able to find one that is convenient and to your liking.

Another one I've heard good things about is the Primrose School, it's further down Round Grove, between Valley Parkway and Old Orchard (just past the McDonalds.)

I worked at New Hope Learning Center. It's a small center (>50 kids) located at First United Methodist Church of Lewisville. I left to stay at home with my son (he was there for 10 months). You can call them ###-###-#### to get more info. You'll talk to either Terri or Linda. Most of the kiddos are on CCS. There's a great group of teachers that really care about the kids! They do lesson plans that are age appropriate.

There is one that I would NOT go to, but for the life of me I cannot think of the name of it. I think it's Shady something? I've heard some not too wonderful things about it. If I think of the name I will send you a message.

Not sure where in Lewisville you are but there is a day care with an argyle address that is between flower mound and denton that accepts CCS and does have more of a learning environment. It might be too far away for you though. The name is Becky's Country Kiddie Barn and my son goes there.

My friend takes her kid to Child Time and likes it but he is only 4 months old so not sure about the structure of it all.

I moved from Lewisville to Justin a year ago. When we lived in Lewisville I checked out a number of them, Childtime included. The one I was impressed with and used instead was Childrens Courtyard on Round Grove and Willow something. I don't know if they accept CCS or not - but I think it would be worth checking into.
