Where do I find a family dentist in Alexandria, VA?
Hi Everyone. This is such a fabulous site! I have enjoyed all the wisdom floating around here. I am looking for a great family dentist. Our insurance has changed and we finally have dental covered. Before we didn't and were going to Peter Cocolis in Springfield. My kids ADORE him and all the staff along with their hygienist Suzie. Sadly his office is not among those accepted by our insurance so we have to change. He recommended either Dr. Ralph Jordan in Belle Haven or Dr. Alex McMillan in Old Town. Do any of you have any experience with either of these Dentists? I am especially looking for someone great with kids.

I also take my daughter to Jayne Delaney and she and her office are fabulous. My dtr had her first appt (she's 3) and they were great with her. Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Delaney were great.

Hi there.
I don't know either of the dentists you listed. However, my husband and I have been going to Dr. Geren on Hinson Farm Rd. in Alexandria for over 18 years. He's excellent. As for a child's dentist, my son will be seeing Dr. Jane Delaney in early April for his first checkup. I got her name from several parents at his preschool. Everyone gave glowing reviews.

Hi,
I recommend Northern Virginia Associates in Springfield, if they take your insurance. My children love Dr. Neal,and they never mind me showing up with 5 children ages 9 yrs to 2 months. Everyone is so friendly, and my children can't wait for their appointments.

I have to second Jayne Delaney. She does a great job with my son.
Avoid Golden Dental. I did not have a good experience with them.

Dr. Delaney is a pediatric dentist and she and her staff are great with children! The receptionist is even very nice and helpful. The office is decorated for kids too. Everyone I have referred her to has liked her as well. I hope she is in your plan.

He is a very good dentist and especially with my kids. I am not sure of the insurance. My daughters goes to this dentist and really likes it!

We are happy with Dr. Mestas in the Rosehill Shopping Center (off of Franconia road and Rosehill Drive). My girls went for their first real cleaning and came back all smiles. Just make sure the hygienist asks you if they can take x-rays!

I think this is a wonderful pediatric dentist. They also have another location. I am not sure of the insurance, if they take yours. Call them and ask. My son goes to this dentist and really likes it!
