Where Can I Find Toddler Boys Shoes in Extra Wide Widths?
Hi Ladies-
I'm looking for toddler boys shoes in extra wide widths. So far Stride Rite is the only place I've found that has them and they are expensive! Any suggestions on other stores or online websites where I can find size 5 and 5.5 extra wide? Thank you!

I too have a wide-footer!! I have only found Stride Rite to be the best fit for him. The price makes me cringe every time i buy them. I usually find last season's shoes on sale for a lot cheaper when Nordstrom's has their sales. I usually stock up and buy the next size up, especially if the price is good. Crocs work well for him too.
Good luck!!

There is a stride rite outlet in Allen. I get all my son's shoes there (extra wide!). The last pair I got cost $25. I also have some size five wide (I think) tennis shoes. I would sell them to you if you want them.

nordstrom rack! you can't just go once and find the perfect shoe....you have to check often....sometimes I'll go and I'll buy 3 pairs of shoes and then I'll go several times and they will have nothing...just don't give up, it's worth it. it's all the expensive nordstrom childrens shoes at very discounted rates---way cheaper than stride rite prices (they do carry some stride rite) and I think, way cuter styles.

stride Rite and Nordstroms have, so far, been our best bets. Payless has a brand that is supposed to be as good as Stride Rite, but I have personally not found any extra widths. I'm told Nordstrom Rack is a good place and then also the outlet malls (I think Allen has a Stride Rite store). You might also try resale places since that's where I offloaded my son's dinkey shoes.
We tend to shop the sales and then my son only has one pair of shoes at a time it seems. I'm of the opnion that I'll buy cheap/used clothes, but shoes I will make sure are a good fit. They seem to important to me.
