Where Can I Find a White Dress for a Little Girl?

You're going to be pretty hard pressed to find one less than $25 in any type of local stores-especially those that specialize in dresses or those like White Elegance that specialize in white clothing.
If it were me the first place I'd look is ebay. Saves you the time of running around to different stores as well!

Mancuso's on State St at about 1900 S carries them year round, as do some of the shops that sell dresses for flower girls, etc. Some of the malls have these stores. For many years there was one at SouthTowne, over near Dillards, top floor.

I saw a pretty all white dress at Target in their Easter dress section. Babies R Us also had a bunch of white dresses. I did not look at the prices at Babies R us but I remember the ones at Target being reasonable. Stores are stocked full of Easter dresses right now, I have already bought my daughters because I know that if I wait until closer they'll be picked over. I found hers at Costco. I can't remember if Costco had anything all white, they might have.

I was just at Babies R Us a couple of days ago and since I'm pregnant with a little girl I was scoping out all the cute girl clothes. They had quite a few cute little white dresses!!! Good Luck.

Try looking on line for communion dresses, they might have a better selection and a good price for what you are looking for. Not sure of any where else that might have dresses for such an occasion.

You can also purchase inexpensive white dresses from the LDS distribution store on in the strip mall on 7200 south and Union park right next to Zurchers. You don't have to be LDS to purchase the dresses there. They have really cute ones for $28 dollars.

Sunday's Child in Cottonwood Heights, Fort Union Blvd and 2000 East. Really cute boutique with some high-end stuff, but alot of their dresses are actually pretty reasonable priced.

I see folks have already recommended the DI. I'd also think that Kid to Kid is worth a look.

I found an adorable white dress for my daughter to be in a wedding last summer on overstock.com I think it was a bout $35 but there were some that were less expensive.

I found one on ebay. It took some looking to get an all-white, pretty, not sleeveless for the price I wanted. I just checked, and the one I bought was still there. It shows a head piece, but does not come with it, - unless that has changed. The flower on the waist was removable, and the dress is machine washable. The sizes seemed to be accurate. I bought slightly big, just in case, and on my daughter, it was slightly big, but looked great.

After you buy, you tell them what size. I did the "best offer" and offered $15 and they accepted, so it was $25 with shipping. You could even try lower and see what they say...

There are a lot of other styles on ebay, too.

if you dont mind used, you can try craigslist and ebay. You could also try your local freecycle, you never know what someone might be willing to give away.

First Communion is right around the corner (April/May), so you should see lots of white dresses popping up. Check JC Penneys, Dillards, Macy's, & Sears.

There used to be a store in the mall in west valley that sold special occasion dresses/suits. NOT Jolenes. It was down the spoke that went to Mervyns. I know they had white dresses year round, but not sure of the prices.

I seen white dresses at target the other day. Also carter's has them too.

I would think that Deseret Thrift stores would have tons of white clothing for all ages. They would also have lots of different styles, mostly with sleeves of some sort so sleeveless may not be an option you'll find many of but I would think every mall in town would carry white dresses for people who are going to the Temple. Kids of all ages go for one reason or another.

As one said First Communion is coming around. If you want to call the local Catholic churches they may know of a place too. There may be someone wanting to sell some white dresses too.
