Where Can I Find a Britax Regent Carseat?

I'm looking for a Britax Regent carseat for my 3 year old. After the email/ news story that went around about the lack of safety without a 5 point harnass, I have been trying to find one...with NO luck! I've been told this is the only one on the market that has a 5 point harnass for up to 85 pounds. Anyone know where I can get one? If not, do you know of something comparable?

I have a soon to be 5 year old and went through the same motions about 6 months ago. I found a car seat made by Sunshine kids it is called the Radiant 65 or 80. I love mine now and so does my daughter.

The Regent has been sold out for months. The February production just started shipping so people who have been on a wait list for a long time are just starting to get theirs but I don't think the stores have them yet for general stocking. I'm a regular ebay shopper - I can tell by the quantity on ebay and the fact that the prices are coming down that a big supply must have been released. I'd expect Target and others retailers to be getting stocked up again soon if you don't shop ebay. You can get brand new ones on ebay -so if you really want one -that's what I would do - in fact that's what I did! Mine came this week. Good luck finding one! BTW- it's huge! I'm planning to leave it permanently in my car but if I had to haul it in and out I couldn't do it. Too heavy!!
