Dreams are a funky thing. You never really know what they mean. It could be that you saw him yesterday and that was on your mind.

Having a child - that could be your dream - your desire - to have a child.

Typically - your dream is YOURS. It is VERY rare for two people to have the same dream. If he's thinking of you - I don't know. You won't know unless you ask him.

I thought you were in a relationship already???

I don't know, but I had an intimate dream about a guy (not sex though) and the next time I saw him it felt like he knew. It was very strange. Anyway, I didn't dare mention it because I am happily married and I think it would have been asking for trouble. If you and this other person are single then I think that's sweet and I hope that something really good comes of it. If either of you is taken then just write it in your journal and move on. :) Best wishes!

ETA: I just went back and looked at your question for 1.29.12... During that time you asked if there is a way to have a girl... Soooo, now I am thinking that the baby girl in your dream represents your desire to have a little girl and this guy in the dream must be someone you think is cute or something. Again I say, if either of you are taken then just let it go. :)

BTW: I do believe there is a way to influence the gender of your children. I don't know the stats for it, but we successfully conceived the desired gender with our first 2 (we didn't try it the 3rd time and we had twin girls-- who I dreamed of 2 years before they were born :) ). Also, I know people, two of them in the last year who successfully conceived the desired gender. It was a matter of having sex on certain days. HTH. OH AAAAAAND: I remembered that once me and my husband had the same dream and when I was a kid me and my grandma had the same dream. (Both times it was the same night.)

I recently read that dreams are your way of your brain trying to understand your subconscience. It also said your dreams are not literal, otherwise we wouldn't need dreams to help us unwind everything because our brain would already understand a situation. They explained it like this, dreams are what your brain uses to compare whats going on to a situation we may understand. It works similar to if you were trying to explain to someone what the sun looks like when it comes up, you wouldn't explain it by saying "when a sun rises it looks like a sun rising" you would say something like "when a sun rises it looks like a giant globe of bright light entering a dark room and making everything possible to see' (its 9am give me some slack on my descriptions ;P). So when you dream about having a child with this man, it is more likely not a dream about you having a child with this man but what that situation means to you or how that is trying to define something you may be going through.

I hope this makes sense.

I've been told to focus on the 3 biggest/main things in your dream...which may or may not be the guy you are dreaming of. And those 3 things have some sort of connection to your real life and you will be able to figure it out.

Oddly, I dream of some type of water almost every single night...lakes, oceans, pools, whatever, almost every night! I think it's because I so badly want to live on a lake in the northwoods...and I grew up a swimmer and had a pool! Who knows! I find it peaceful, usually!

Don't read too much into it though...if every dream I had were in some way true, I would have to be committed! LOL!

I like to read about my dreams and what they may mean. Based on my personal experience when I dream about, say, my husband, he isn't dreaming about me. I think the last time I told him I had a dream about him, he dreamed about hunting - go figure:)
google dream interpretations - it is a fun thing to reference - especially if really vivid dreams. Sometimes what you think something is supposed to mean, doesn't - fascinating.

Pay attention to your dreams because there's something your brain is trying to bring to the surface. It's not as black and white as you'd think. If you dream you're going to dinner with your husbands best friends, you're not going to wake up and go to dinner with your husbands best friends; there's another, deeper, more meaningful message in there.

I have had numerous dreams about a boy from my childhood. I never dated him, even after he asked. In it I was praying for him and trying to keep him safe. I haven't seen, heard about, or talked to him in 26 years.

I prayed for him and did a google to see if anything obvious was going on. I have no idea what it means. I would never want a relationship with him. I was not really attracted to him. Weird.

It's usually more about how that person makes you feel and how that feeling relates to your life. I find I dream of things that make me nervous when I'm feeling nervous about something at work, home, money, etc. or dreaming of old things from your past is normal too. It's more telling you what your subconscious desires than anything! I tend to dream about certain specific people and call them only to find out there was a good reason I thought of them. Friend ESP of sorts ;)
