Hi, Im a 28 year old mom of two. I have a five year old son and a 10 month old daughter. I started using regular laundry detergent when my son turned two. Then once he turned two I used free and clear detergents and fabric softeners. Hope this was helpful.

Sure you can change now. Just TEST a few clothes to make sure that he is not going to be allergic to the detergent that you are using. After that wash away!

As long as you haven't had any specific concerns I think are fine to ditch the Dreft. And if you notice any irritation or if you are worried you can always try using the "free and clear" version of your fav brand of laundry detergent.

Hi, my son is 18 months and I have been using All Clear ( in white bottle) it is great! My peditrician uses it for her 3 kids and I love it because I can use it for everything.

absolutely
i switched when mine were about 1 and used free and clear. still do. if you see a reaction (most likely you won't) then switch back

Definately time to switch.
For both my daughters I only used Dreft for the first 2 months. I use All Free and Clear. My youngest has eczema and the detergent has no effect on the eczema.
If you're using a heavy duty detergent like Tide (both my daughter and I are allergic to it), only wash a few articles at first and look for any type of reaction before completely switching over.
