When During Pregnancy Did Your Belly Button Pop Out?

I'm only 9 weeks pregnant (3rd pregnancy) and my belly button has popped out already! Is this common?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you for all of your responses!! Now I'm almost 12 weeks and I'm showing quite a bit. I think it's partially because I'm so "backed-up" lol I'm not looking forward to having this belly button sticking out until May, but I guess I'll have to get over it!! :-)

Mine never (in MANY pregnancies) every really 'popped' out...it kind of 'smoothed out' to a 'flatty' (instead of an 'inny')...

I took advantage EVERY time to clean thoroughly...lol...the stuff I found was...well...unspeakable!! lol

Give a good clean...and enjoy!!

Early in the week that my water broke.. I tried to use some band aides because with one of my dresses you could see it so clearly. I was walking along and I could feel them coming undone.. I kept trying to rub them back into place, but they were not strong enough.. Cracked me up..

My 'tail' appeared very soon into my second pregnancy too. I think I was about 9 or 10 weeks while it was closer to 20 weeks with my first. I think that just like you start to show faster with each pregnancy your belly button pops faster too

Mine never popped out with any of my 3. It just got all flat. It didn't start doing that until I was getting on the large side of things, so maybe 6 months. I'm not 100% sure.

Mine never did, just got kind of stretched out! I think everyone is different depending on your prepregnancy body and how many pregnancies you've had. I wouldn't say it's necessarily common or uncommon to have yours popped out already. I was kinda bummed mine never did, I think it's cute!

Yes, with both of my pregnancies...and so much sooner with the second pregnancy, I think at maybe 4-5 months. It is common and nothing to worry about as far as I know. If I wore a tight fitting shirt, I actually stuck a band-aid over it to try and hide it. LOL! Although, it's really not a good idea because the skin is very sensitive there, with it already being stretched so tight.
