One of my 8 month old twins has no teeth yet! Her Twin sister has four already erupted and two more just under the surface. Their older brother had four teeth visible at four months old. Anyone else with a baby with late teeth?

What can I do next?

Not to worry. My daughter didn't get her teeth till she was 19 months old. They came in just fine without a lot of teething pain and the dentist said her teeth look great.

all 4 of my kids got their 1st tooth around 12 1/2 months old. They didn't get their 2 year molars till they were 3 yrs old. But getting teeth later is suppose to be a good thing, at least that's what i've been told by their dentist & what I've read

My first didn't get a single tooth until after 12 months. Then, out of nowhere, he cut 8 in two weeks! Poor baby! Poor Mommy! But, two weeks of no sleep was way better than six months of no sleep!!!

They are all different. My son got his first 2 at 4 months but his cousin, who is 3 weeks older, didn't get his first one until he was 10 months old.

One of my twins had his first tooth at 6 months. His brother had his at 9 months. The funny thing is he walked two days after getting the tooth, so I would joke that he was almost walking before he had teeth. Also, by the time he was a year he only had four teeth.

At 10 months, four all at once! But she didn't have any of the usual teething symptoms, they just popped in.

My son got his really early...like at two months. Some children's teeth come earlier and some later...don't worry...they'll show up! :)

My daughter's first teeth didn't come in until she was about 11 months. I thought she'd never get teeth! :) When they did finally come in the first four came very quickly.

Now she's 5.5 and just lost her first tooth! ;-)

Both my kids had them come in at 11 months. I was a late teether and didn't have them come in until around 15 months (so my parents say anyway). Your baby is still within the norm, and she can still eat pretty good with those strong gums!

My little one's first tooth cut around 11 months, and within a month, his four top teeth were through. (His first tooth was a side one, not a front one!) Now at 14 months, his first bottom tooth has cut through. It's been a couple weeks, and we're still waiting for a second bottom tooth!

My first daughter did not get her first tooth until her 9 month birthday, the second tooth appeared a day or two later. Her two top teeth did not appear until well after her 1st birthday. She is now 3 and all her teeth are present and accounted for.
Our second daughter had her two bottom teeth appear at 6 months. She will be turning 1 in a couple of weeks and no other teeth have appeared, although I think one top one will be coming soon.
My girls just seem to be a bit late with their teeth. It is more of a problem with my youngest as she is refusing baby food and just wants what everyone else is eating! :-)
