When Can I Rent a Steam Cleaner?

We have a brand new ho use and 3 kids. I'm trying to keep my carpet nice and new, but every time spot is driving me crazy! And I don;t want to leave them there to stain and get worse. Its nothing big, just small spots here and there, so no major work! Does anyone know where I can rent a steam cleaner from for a few hours?

What can I do next?

J.,
I did the whole renting thing for a while, but if you have three kids you might as well buy one. It is a great investment!! If you don't want to make a big purchase right now.(holidays) Then just get one of the hand held ones. Most of them are about $50. They only do spots but it will get you through so you don't have to rent one as much! The Spot Bot is great. Its about $100.

You can go to either Biggs, or Krogers and get one. You can even purchase one at Walmart or Biggs for about $200. It sounds kind of expensive, but if you think about it; by the time you finish renting and buying to carpet cleaning solution you will have spent way more than owning your own. Hope this helps.

I don't know where you are, but there is a Jubilee store here in Monroe on (Cin-Dayton rd.) They were renting them for $20.00 , I think for 24 hours, Good Luck, I am doing the same thing, also, Biz spot remover works real well!

We bought an inexpensive Bissell - the cheapest one at wal-mart; I didn't want to rent one because you just don't know where they have been, or what people were cleaning up.
In between cleanings, we use Spot Shot, which we bought at Sam's in a multi-pack. It works very well - even gets grease out of the carpets. I hope this helps.
