What's a Good Overnight CLOTH Pull-up for Older Children?

OK, I am sooo very tired of buying goodnights! So I am on the search for a good pair of cloth pull ons! I have tried a couple times to make them myself, but the materials necessary make it not worth the value. I have seen many brands, but not sure which is best. Thank you for your help!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thansk again! I did more searching and everyone in the diapering community recommened Mother-ease. They are not cheap ($33 each), but I bought 2 for my son. I also bought 2 Nikky Nighttime training pants for my daughter. I tried one of hers on my son and he did leak through so I got the Mother-ease ones. I must say after 5 days of both of them wearing them they are working great! I am thrilled! I only bought 2 each, but that will work out without having to do laundry too frequently. I think 3 each would have been best, but I had to stick to my budget. Plus now I save that $45 I have been spending each month on pull-s and good nights disposables, not to mention the reduction in my garbage! Hooray!
Thanks to everyone for their advice!

You might want to look into the Potty Scotty http://www.pottyscotty.com/ and Potty Patty http://www.pottypatty.com/ products. I have the cloth training pants for my little one and they are very absorbant.

I hate this when I show my age...but, I had my kids before there were Pullups. I used plain ol' training pants. If I was concerned about a "heavy" night I used 2 pair. I always called them "big boy" pants when the time came to start using them and had no problem. When I needed the extra a little story as to why always did the trick especially since my son was the main character.
As for a brand, I don't recall there being a specific brand, maybe Carter or something like that. Somebody who makes general layette items. I always felt the crotch area for thickness and read the label to see if it was made out of cotton.

I don't use cloth pull-ons, but use cloth diapers for my 2 yr old at night and have occasionally put them on my 5 yr old. son for bedtime. We just call them pull-ups so he doesn't feel like a baby. You could go on-line and look at the brands and see if they have a pull- up or training pant in your child's size. Two brands that I like are Happy Heiny and Fuzzi Bunz. I just use size XL in the Fuzzzi Bunz brand for my 5 yr old who is 44 lbs. Hope this helps.

Hi! Go to www.diaperpin.com or www.diaperswappers.com and post there, you will get lots of advice and you can probably find a used one or two to try out and see if you like them.

Yes, I believe Motherease makes a good one. At any rate, you'll want to look for an All-in One (or AIO for short) that is pretty thick. I've also used pre-folds with a cloth doubler, and with a cover, my son does not soak through...good luck! There are lots of benefits to cloth diapering...cost is one of the reasons I do it, too!!

I would love to find one as well. Let me know if you get any good advice.

I'd like to know the answer to this too.

The only pull ups I have used were called Pull ups nightime. They worked ok! I finally stopped letting my son have anythink to drink after 7 except for water and I made him us the bathroom before he went to bed. He still has will have an accident everyonce in a while. Good Luck!!!!
