What Size Shoe Is Your 2Yr Old Daughter Wearing??

I am curious what size shoes other 2 yr old girls are wearing. My daughter turned 2 yrs old on Oct 23rd and we have always noticed she has had small feet. The rest of her is growing just fine (she wears 3T tops and 2T-3t bottoms), she just seems to have small feet and the sign at Babies R Us says like size 7 - 8 for a 2 yr old.... My daugher is only in a size 6...

I was just wondering what size shoe your 2yr daughter is wearing or wore if you can remember ??

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks ladies.....It's just so hard buying shoes for little ones, I didn't seem to have this problem with my oldest daughter or my son...It's almost like they need to make 3/4 sizes at time and not just 1/2 sizes.....lol

My daughter will be 4 in May and is just getting into a size 6 now! :) She's definately on the tiny side (size 3T tops, finally into 2T bottoms) but clothes last a long time on her! :)

I have two girls that will be 3 on May 7th. One is wearing 6 to 6 1/2 & the other is wearing 6 1/2 to 7.

My daughter's birthday is the end of July (she'll be 3 this year) and she's BARELY in a 6.5. She wears about a 3T pant and shirt, 2T is kind of touch and go anymore. She's just my little peanut, and it's good for her, because she has an array of shoes that her big sister grew out of so fast they're still like new! :) My older daughter always had feet on the larger size, she's not quite for and a half now and she's in an 11!

It totally depends on the shoe brand. My daughter would fit in a 6 of one brand or into a 8 of another.
When I bought shoes for her online I printed out the size charts for different brands and they are all over the map... best to try them on!

I don't usually splurge on clothes or shoes, but I do believe that high quality shoes are important for growing feet.
The best place to get them in our area is Nordstrom. They have superior service and well trained staff that know what they are doing. I actually pay more for my daughter's shoes than for mine...
Good luck!

My daughter will be 2 in June, she wears a 5 now but they are getting snug. She'll be in a 6 soon....
She wears 2T and 3T depending on the brand.

Well my daughter 5 just got into a size 8...it really depends on each individual child.

My 3 year old is in a size 8 and my almost 2 year old is in a 5-6. I wouldn't worry about it. I would just get her shoes that fit and not fret over it. Adults have different size feet and so do children.

My daughter turned two in December, she is a size 5 1/2 to a size 7 shoe depending on the brand and cut. The size 7's are still a little big on her. She is not at all small. She weighs 26 lbs and also wears 2t bottoms and 2-3t tops. When my oldest was two she was also only a size 5 foot. My foot size is 9-10 and I think that their feet will grow as they do.
On another note, I have noticed that A LOT of parents put shoes on their kids that are in my opinion two sizes too big and I don't know the reason for that, and they insist that that is the childs shoe size. Maybe I've been wrong all along and have been putting shoes on my kids that are too small! LOL!! Or maybe they are all following Babies R Us guidelines!!!
Don't worry, her feet are just perfect!

I don't remember what size my daughter wore when she was 2, but she is 4 now and is wearing a 9. She tends to go through crazy growth spurts with her feet. She will grow a whole size in a few weeks and then wear that size for 6-9 months. It's very strange. She just had a growth spurt, so she is now a 9. I really think it depends on the kid. My son isn't even 2 yet and he is a 6.

My daughter is really tall compared to other two year olds, she wears a size 8.5 shoe, that's as big as most three year olds we know!

My daughter is exactly the same! She wears 2T pants, 3T tops, but only a size 5 or 6 shoe. My daughter turns 3 May 23rd. I don't think it's cause for concern.
