During my first pregnancy I just painted my belly and took a photo and I wished I had done something more professional. There are lots of photos that you can do where the belly is nude but your lower half and breasts are covered. I think belly casting sounds cool but messy and then where would I put it, lol. I have an empty spot on our bedroom wall and this time (I'm almost 6 months) I plan to do a photo, my belly against a black drop, holding a hot pink daisy. I can't wait! I hope you find a great way to keepsake your pregnancy!! Have fun with it!

I did the nude photo's, you can't see anything with a strategically placed arm and hand. My husband loves them and say's I looked so beautiful, we do have some with the two of us together also. We have them framed in our room. My sister did the belly casting and now that the child in 3 she said what the heck to I do with this...it is so big and not easy to store....just my take, you will enjoy the photos for years to come. If you do the photo's, look on the internet under pregnancy photo's and them you will have a good idea of what types of pics you want taken, then you will be ahead of the game.

I had a belly cast made with my last baby, and it's a fun keepsake, though not the most practical. I'm not artistic, so mine is just plain white still. If you can paint it to match the baby's room or something, that would be better.

I did not get the tastefully nude photos, and wish I had. Go for it!

nude.. but tasteful nude..

the naked breast covered type..
I just think those look better

I usually paint if we get far enough.. with my 2nd we had a preemie and didn't get to it
