What Is Your Favorite Sippy Cup?

The selection out there is dizzying...
And now, with the scare of bisphenol-A (BPA) I am of course inclined to stay away from that. We use the Gerber cup now but I don't like that the soft spout takes on dishwasher detergent odors (and I understand that cup is not bpa free). I recently purchased the Born Free cup but bought the trainer rather than drinking cup spout (so had to cut the slits to make it flow better).
My baby will be turning 1 next month and will be transitioning to milk.
We are often on the move so I think an insulated cup would be nice to have.
I am curious what other mom's thoughts are.

What can I do next?

I tried the born free Trainer sippy cup and my daughter loves it,she hates bottles. This is the only thing that worked for her

Hi H. - I actually found that a lot of the sippy cups do not have BPA in them. Someone gave a website, I think it was safemama.com or something to that effect, and they had a list of BPA free bottles and sippy cups. I was happy to see that the NUBY cup that I used for both of my sons was listed under BPA free, I liked that one b/c it had a silicone spout, easy to transition from the bottle.

Because I am using more organic products trying to keep my family safe from plastics and pesticides, etc. I tried the Safe Sippy and the Klean Kanteen sippy cups. The safe sippy was at first preferred by my daughter but we found it can leak especially if the top isn't on properly which can happen easier than expected. The Klean Kanteen's look didn't catch me for anything but we actually now prefer it and use those most of all. My daughter & nephews love them! Actually, because not many people have them, it's even more beneficial in cases of misplacing and not confusing your sippy cups with others!

Try the foogo sippy by Thermos. We have the straw cup for our 2 and 4 year olds and love them! Made of stainless steel, it os insulated and does not leak. And it keeps liquids cold for over 10 hours!!!

They also sell it at Target.

my son use Siggs sippy cup (we got it at Wholefood and EMS), Klean Kanteen bottle with sport cap, and Nagelne (BPA free) toddler sport bottle.. but i hand wash it. those all works good and my son loves it. My son use Born Free sippy cup (we dont cut the nipple but remove the vent air part) and he grow out of it. I am saving it for my 2nd baby :o) (my son is 2 and half yrs old).

my son rather Klean Kanteen bottle mostly. (i used it with avent's green nipple 9 mos + at first then i switch to 18+mos n up's nipple, then now we use sport cap on ir)

I like the nuby brand. They have no valves so they are easy to clean. They also have cups with straws that twist closed when not in use so that they stay clean.

I love the nuby sippy cups. It was a good transition for my daughter from bottle to cup, and now that she's almost 2 she still loves it. The part I like about it is that it's no spill, which means when she decides to fling it around I don't have the same mess to clean up as I did with the other ones!
Good Luck!
M.

After investing probably thousands in sippy cups and still investing the only cup that I have found to work the best in all areas is playtex. It is a little more costly but well worth it.
