What Does Your 7 Year Old Girl Play With?
My mom was over this weekend and wondered what my 7.5 year old daughter wanted for Christmas. I have no ideas so I am looking to you wonderful Mommies to see what your 7 year old girls play with? Thanks in advance :) After reading some of the responses I guess I should edit my request. My daughter LOVES art, science materials, Littlest Pets, Polly Pockets, Barbies, performing, reading, music (of course HM & HSM), and riding her bike or scooter. I am looking for new ideas (hard I know).
So What Happened?™
Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful ideas!

Last year for Christmas I bought my niece one of those jewerly kits. She can make her own bracelet or necklace. Then she had fun showing all her friends what she made.

2 words Hannah Montana. there are dolls, movies, cds, clothes, and just about everything else you can think of. I don't know any little girls who don't like her. Also Jonas Brothers are very big.I have an almost 6 year old and she is crazy about this. Good luck.

My 7 year old girl loves to color and write! She also loves playing with her princess dolls and her princess castle! Those are pretty much what she plays with! Hope this gives you some ideas. Take care!

My daughters are now 10 and 8 but I found that you can never go wrong with art stuff, painting, drawing, coloring and even the knitting kits. It promotes creativity and also makes it so they are creating their own projects. It makes them so proud.

Anything Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, High School Musical, arts/crafts (loves to color/draw), LOVES makeup (though I can't stand it), jewelry, dressup (loves my high heels), toys that allow for performances (guitar, microphone, costumes, wigs, karaoke), appropriate games for hand-held video games, jump rope, hoola hoop, ice skates (winter's coming), board games....

Sadly, it seems Bratz are the current favorite. Barbie always worked for me and my nieces and friends.
there's always the stores like the Discovery store or items that stimulate the imagination or learning that are good too. Just ask a clerk.

Seven year old girls often like keeping house. Any cute little dolls or stuffed animals that can live in a box that she can make windows in or furniture or rugs could be a lot of fun. We like simple old fashioned toys. If you do too try NOVA naturals or Hearthsong. Good luck! We have six kids 3-14 and have found that a few good quality toys are much better than a boat load junky ones. Pick stuff you won't mind seeing around the house!
