Don't know if you've noticed or it matters, but Julian Aaron will give you the initials JAP, assuming he has the same last name as you. And to me Julian Aaron does not "flow" as well - kind of sounds like "Julie and Aaron". So I like Aaron Julian better, but really, it's what you want as a first name, because it's not as if people will be calling him both every where he goes.

Aaron Julian. But I'm partial to A.J. as a great nickname (and you know all boys get nicknames when they're in high school!) because those are my son's initials as well.

I like Aaron Julian because I like the nick name AJ if he goes through the stage of wanting a nick name. One reason my daughter was named Nicole Elizabeth and not Elizabeth Nicole was I like Nikki as a nickname and not Beth or Liz. And when she was in Jr High defining who she was she did go by Nikki for awhile with friends. It was a shock to her someone call her that, but at least I liked it.

Hi, I just love Aaron Julian (AJ could be a nickname)...love the White Sox AJ!
One more thing...just because kids (and adults) are cruel...I see that your last initial is P... sooooo... AJP or JAP.... (something to think about)!
The best of luck!!! :)

If your last name starts with "P", I would consider whether you want his initials to be "JAP". Otherwise, I like Julian. :)

Hi,
I think it depends on your last name and what his initials would spell if his middle name is Aaron. For example, if your last name was Newsome, then his initials would be JAN. That might get him teased. :)

Unless you'll be calling him by his full name it doesn't really matter. Which first name do you prefer? Very few people are called by their full name. I agree with the nickname AJ, it's a great name!
Good luck to you Mom!!!

Aaron Julian ________
Almost regardless of your last name (1-5 syllables, the Julian middle name sets it up to flow).
And AJ is a great nickname.

I like Aaron Julian better, you can call him Julian if you really like it or if ge does, you can also call him AJ. The last name is more important than the middle name, you'll say them together more often. Because of the two -n sounds I don't necessarily like them together. And if his last name will be the same as yours, no Julian Aaron..his initials will be JAP...If your names are family you can add another middle name, my friend liked Vincent David because of family so she did vincent James David, you could do Julian Aaron (your maiden name?) p______ or Julian Michael Aaron, etc..
Congrats!

Julian Aaron for sure!!! Just read some of your previous answers and I'm just not at all into the whole A.J. thing like a lot of people seem to be. Personally, I am not a fan of letters as names.....that's just me though. And, I love the name Julian.....different and not super common, but, not so crazy and unusual either. Julian Aaron gets my vote!!! Good luck!
P.S. I posted name stuff about a year and a half ago before my son was born. It was fun reading all the answers, and not so fun reading lots of others (there are a lot of moms on here with VERY strong opinions about things), but, overall, it was a fun thing to do. I couldn't decide between the names Spencer Jake and Chase Jaxson. In the end, we chose Chase Jaxson and I LOVE his name......so happy I didn't pick Spencer. Just wouldn't fit him at all. Good luck!

I like Julian Aaron. Julian is a more unique name and he is less likely to have another Julian in his class once he gets to school. Also, I prefer names that are not unisex (despite masculine/feminine spellings). As a teacher I prefer the more unique names so the children don't have to be addressed by their first name and last initial (Aaron P. instead of just Aaron).

I tried hard to name my kids things around what they might be nicknamed, so unless you want the chance at being stuck with an "A.J" I would go with Julian Aaron. That is my preference anyway! Good luck! Great name either way though!
