Wetting Bed Through Diaper
My daughter is 11 months old and up till now we've been lucky with virtually no nights when diapers leaked through to her blankets or sheets. Now, it's a nightly occurance. She SCREAMS if I change her during the night and stays up for 45 minutes to 2 hours later, so changing her during the night is not a great option. But I'm so tired of washing sheets and blankets!! She wears huggies diapers to bed. Is there anything else I can do?

I don't know what others have replied but there are diapers especially made for night time that helped us when we were there. Also trying a larger size of diaper works. This too shall pass. :)

We always had problems with Huggies. We've used Pampers, Luvs, and White Cloud with no problems. You could try a bigger size, or check out Pods on a potty training website. They can be used to improve absorbency. GL!

You can buy plastic diaper covers at Babies R Us and just about every where else. Also, I, like everyone else have had problems with Huggies. Pampers work really well but the best diaper by far is the Costco brand at Costco. They are way less expenseive than Pampers and work just as well, if not better. It is worth the $50 Costco membership - you will makeup that money with a month or two of diapers at their great price.

Get Huggies night time and get one size bigger than she normally wears. That's what worked the best for us. My daughter did the same thing, wet right thru everything, but she rarely woke up. Just in the morning she was sopping wet. But I loved Huggies night time diapers.

Hi, I have grandkids now, they both had that happen. Safeway has diaper liners, that helped alot.

What size of diaper is she in? When my kids started peeing out of the diapers I went to the next size which is able to hold more leaving less leaks. I have had bad luck with Huggies. I use Pampers but I know they are more expensive but I feel that I use less of them than the other brands since I dont have to change due to leaks all the time. I have had great success with the pampers my 19 month old hardly ever wakes up wet but the diapers are pretty heavy. try upping the size first, that should resolve quite a bit.

Have you tried the Huggies Overnights? I use those and love them, they work great! I have to go to either Wal-Mart or Target to get them.
Good luck!

We use Pampers and haven't had any problems. Huggies leaked when he was a newborn. We've used pampers ever since. I agree with trying a size larger at night. The other thing I highly recommend if you are changing sheets all the time is either the Ultimate Crib Sheet at BBR'Us (if your daughter does not unsnap it from the crib...our 10 month old learned how to do this a while ago). Or we now use the quick zip sheets by clouds and stars which are AWESOME for when our baby spits up or has a poopie diaper blowout and we don't want to mess with changing crib sheets and lifting the mattress up, etc. Website is

They are pretty expensive, but we bought them on clearance so they were 50% off.
