Weird Diaper Rash?

My 15 month old daughter has the strangest rash around where the diaper rash area would be. It looks like pimples. It doesn't seem to hurt her. I change her diaper frequently. Nothing in her diet has changed, I give her pretty healthy food. I only use the Boudreaux's butt paste in that area(since birth). I took her for her 15 month well check and the doc didn't seem too concerned. Anyone else seen this?

What can I do next?

Google "nappy rash" and click image. I am sure that is all the baby has since the PED looked and wasn't concerned. Anytime a rash is involved, google rash and click image. Look for like patterns and appearance. Then you will be able to look for similar symtoms. I have seen doctors look up rashes in the books, I guess they can't know every one of them.

I wonder if it is a pimple like rash. Could the butt paste be clogging some pores? If she is not prone to diaper rash, maybe try cornstarch instead of the paste a couple times and see if it clears up.

My daughter gets diaper rashes off and on given different circumstances. I have used everything and though i haven't had to experience the small pimple look as a rash. Though My daughters doctor just gave me some new diaper rash cream that she likes alot and my daughters doctor has 3 girls. Its over the counter and called triple paste medicated ointment for diaper rash. It doesnt hurt to try unless your child is allergic to something in it.

my daughter has these too. shes allergic to the chemicals in the diapers. all it is is that her hair folicles getting clogged. there isnt much you can do. i also put diaper rash cream on my daughters daiper area. they do sell chlorine free diapers. target has them and they are a little pricey but i have found a brand call full circle (at stater bros but they may carry them at another store). try those they may help. my daughters dr said it probably wont go away until shes fully potty trained. good luck!

you could start letting her 'run free' for a little while between diaper changes. Just leave the diaper off for a half hour or so and see if that helps...
Good luck
