i am just chiming in to say i too lost 45 pounds on WW. It took me 1 year and now I am back in my size 6.

If you put your mind to it and stick with it you can do it. I have tried every diet under the sun and WW is the best.

You can still eat what you want just in moderation. It's all about portion control

Best of Luck to you!! :)

I have done weight watchers a few times before and have always found it very successful and pretty easy to follow. The meals are actually tastey and the point system is easy to follow once you get the hang of it. You'll get to learn what snacks you like and how many points your usual foods are so you can mix and match and try new things. I think weight watchers is absolutely one of the better diet methods out there b/c it allows to enjoy all of the basic food groups that your body NEEDS and it really teaches all things in moderation. My weakness was McDonald's hamburgers and if I really wanted one, I had one. It limited what I could have for the rest of the day, but nothing was off limits if I really wanted it, I just had to watch the rest of the day. Great for those of us who aren't so good with being told NO! Ha ha! Best of luck!!

I did WW online for a year with very good results. WW teaches you how to eat healthily, while still allowing you the flexibility to eat the foods you like. It gives you easy-to-use tools to eat the amount that is right for you, with two different systems so you can choose the one you like. And if you go to meetings, you have the encouragement and accountability to continue, and help when you get stuck or have difficulties. I didn't do meetings, but joined an online group at halfmysize.com.

I have lost 102 pounds so far on Weight Watchers since May 2008 with another 30 or so to go so it certainly works!

They simplify calorie counting with the point system, help you develop healthy eating habits and an overall healthy lifestyle :)

I also get additional support from the forums at www.3fatchicks.com :)

I'm currently doing WW and LOVE it! It gives you a lot of flexiblity while teaching you how to eat well. I have a toddler and work full-time and I'm having good success with it. I do the monthly pass program and you get to attend meetings and get their online stuff. It's like $40 a month and defiently worth it. Good luck!

I absolutely love Arbonne's protein powders that are sweetened with Stevia(natural sugar) and have 20 grams of protein. If a person is serious about wanting to lose weight to replace 2 meals a day works great. They also have a energy fizz tablet that contains B12 and green tea which boosts metabolism and energy. WW is the only diet that has EVER worked for me. I have lost almost 60 lbs over the last year using WW. You have to think of it as a lifestyle change though, or no "diet" will work.
Good luck!

My mom lost a lot of weight on it and she said she was never hungry. You get to eat all the time so she really loved it.

Hi A.... well, I am no expert on dieting, I struggle everyday. But I am trying to count points but I am not a member of WW at this time. My mom has always believed in WW and has reached her goal and stayed there. My problem is I do not like salad, so any diet is difficult for me. I think WW is a good plan and you can lose weight on. Good Luck!
