Weight Lost
I am having problems with gaining my weight back when I was pregnant with my baby I was at 200lbs and now I am down to probably 130 or less I lost my weight so quick within two months and now I am having trouble gaining weight. I am now taking ensure but it don't seem to be working. What should I do?
So What Happened?™
Thanks for the advice
Its just I know my fiance may not be use to my weight and I think it maybe a reason why he don't like taking me places anymore because I have lost so much weight. Its times I don't have an appetite and I have to make myself eat. My clothes don't fit me like they use to. I am going to take you all advice and go to the doctor I don't want to take any weight gain pills. I was thinking about taking the shot for birth control instead of the Loestrin 24FE. I think also by losing this weight it maybe stressing me too.

While most of us wish we had your problem, I know that underweight can have its own problems. First, have you checked with your doctor? Maybe you are at a healthy weight for your height and frame size. If not, then I'm sure s/he will have some ideas for you. However, whether a person is overweight or underweight, a lot of the time I think the root problem is the same - ignoring signs of hunger and fullness. Make sure you keep whole grain crackers, cheese, yogurt, peanut butter, and other higher-calorie foods around and pay attention to when your body needs to eat. This probably doesn't help a whole lot because you may already be doing that, but check with your doctor, anyway. Blessings.

Def make an appt with your doctor and discuss it with him just to rule out any medical problems.

Are you breast feeding?, I also had lost weight and felt tired all the time when I was breast feeding. I am a small person anyway so I don't have much reserve. I went back to normal afterwards. It wasn't a healthy weight loss, that is for sure.

Unless you are extremely tall, 130 is an ideal weight for many people. Have you tried working out, mainly with weights? There are trainers in the gym, but if you don't have the money for that, take the classes.

Girl why are you complaining!!!!! I wish i had that problem!! But seriously, most women after having a baby their metabolism slows down. Yours may have speeded up. If you are eating regularly and drinking the ensure, you probably have nothing to worry about. If you are nursing, you lose mega weight as well. If you are still concerned, i would see your doc. They could tell you if something was wrong with a simple blood test.
Good luck and god bless!!!

Have your doctor check your thyroid. My mom went from 220 pounds to 130 and it turned out to be a hyperactive thyroid. If you're breastfeeding, then the calories are going to your milk supply and just keep eat good high calorie food and take your vitamins. Good luck.
