Hi mama's so I am trying to lose weight. I have tried counting calories and I have tried portion control but find that mid to end of day I am starving. Any ideas to help this I drink water and I admit I am a coffee drinker. Has anyone out there tried sensa, how has it worked for you. Pro's and con's about it. I hear it is a great suppresant that does not make you jumpy.

Thanks

What can I do next?

My cousin is doing Sensa right now and although she said she's "lost weight" she didn't say how much and frankly, she doesn't look like she has. If you are active on Facebook, search "be my diet buddy" and ask to join the group. Its a great online support for those of us who struggle with this. Good luck!

I would suggest adjusting your snacks.
I've switched to almonds. They REALLY do keep you full. 1/4 cup is all you need for a snack. Raw, unsalted, unroasted. They're about 170 calories in that portion, and they will keep you full for hours.

Avocado has the same effect.

I don't know about sensa, but I talked to a nutrician once, and she said that the best, proven way to lose weight is by keeping a food diary. If you have an iphone, there is a free app, myfitnesspal, that is great for this.

No magicpowder or pill will remove the weight and keep it off. Caffeine will help you feel hungry and artificial sweeteners also impact your brain and make your brain trigger hunger. Artificial ingredients send hunger cues to the brain that is why they use them to get you to eat more. Creamer in coffee even fat free or sugar free add s to the days count. Clean eating and walking after every meal for at least ten minutes and then 4days of cardio for an hour and 3days if weight training. The weight you should be will happen.

I'm a firm believer (after trying every diet, many appetite suppresants, and misc. other tactic's), to lose weight, and honestly, you need to make a commitment to yourself to become healthy & active which is the ONLY way to lose it & keep it off. I've lost 53 lbs. on Weight Watchers (online) & becoming active. In the past year I have learned how to eat correctly & stick to a commitment of changing my life. I cannot tell you how good it feels to have accomplished this after 20+ years of being inactive & unhealthy. Learn how to cook & eat healthy & start exercising (walking, running, cardio), and you WILL drop the weight. Good luck!!

Coffee and water have no calories, but if, like my husband, add ten spoons of sugar and cream, then woila many calories. continue with the portion control. It is slower weight loss and that is what you want. If you are starving step up with veggies. You be the judge of how you like them. Or a bit of cereal before you sleep. If you are starving right before dinner and eat while you are making the food you might want to precook your meals on the weekend and use that time for walking (with little people if you have them) or turning some music on while you reheat and dance around! Good luck!

I took off nearly 40 lbs,,,,,kept it off for over 3years. My blood reports are fantastic. I am so much healthier. I lost ONLY fat and have actually built more muscle so I burn calories so much better. I would recommend it any and everyone. 38 lbs healthier for sure. I was never hungry!!!
the exercise required was walking. I went from a 12 to a 4.
they toute it as an Inchloss program. I am so glad I tried it.
