Hi! While I haven't tried an actual supplement, I've been very successful losing baby weight by reading and following the Abs Diet for Women and doing weight training and cardio at the gym. I haven't wanted to spend the money on an actual supplement and now really enjoy my "me" time at the gym, good luck!! :)

easiest way I have found to loose weight after I have a baby is just count calories. I don't know how much you weigh now but a good rule of thumb is to eat around 1200 to 1500 a day and no more. Do that every day and the weight will come off. keep a daily log so you can write it down to make sure you don't go over your limit. I also found it easier to eat small amounts all day so you never go too long with out eating and that helps keep you from over eating. This is an example of what I ate while on my diet.
Breakfast-slimfast-190 calories
snack-fruit or-2 hard boiled eggs. around 140 calories
lunch-slimfast-190 calories or a lean cuisine meal-300 calories
snack-fruit or nuts-140 calories
Dinner-whatever I was making my family-around 600 calories
snack-popcorn 100 calories
Daily total-about 1470 and less if you have the slimfast instead of the lean cuisine for lunch. So by doing this you eat about every 2 hours it's just small amounts. It really works if you stick with it. promise.
I did this after my second baby. When I delivered I weighed 142 by the time she was 5 months old I was down to 115 and by the time she was 8 months I was down to 107!

Limit your fat intake, limit your sugar intake (think fast foods, sodas), cut out the junk foods (cookies, cakes, chips), eat smaller portions, include more veggies, whole grains, and fruits in your diet and most importantly, EXERCISE. I do not believe in diets. They don't work. I don't believe in supplements like weight loss pills. What happens when you lose your weight with these supplements, do you stop taking them and continue eating like you were only to gain it all back again? Losing weight and maintaining weight loss takes commitment to a healthier eating style and exercise helps burn calories, burn fat, and sculpt your muscles.

R., I could not recommend the Hi5 system more! My husband has lost 12 pounds during the holidays and he looks better than he ever has! :) I know of a lot of other people who have had great success as well, including my friend who has lost 30 pounds so far. You can visit http://www.hi5la.com or just message me for more info.
Good luck and Happy New Year!

increase your metabolism.
Raw virgin coconut oil , 3 t a day, and lugols iodine drops will both do that. then a low carb high protien diet. If you tend to ONLY gain weight around the trunk /abdomen area which is exceedingly hard to loose if not impossible and have very thin arms and legs, you likely have high cortisol hormones. One thing that reduces cortisol is holy basil supplements.

Dont drink sodas, not even the diet ones. Switch to water. Drink non fat milk only. Add a few cups of green tea to your diet daily. Celery with peanut butter is a healthy, lo-cal snack that keeps you full for a while. Pull out your blender and start making smoothies out of fresh fruits and veggies. Did you know one apple in the morning will give you a bigger boost than a cup of starbucks? Blend an unpeeled apple along with a banana and orange and even throw in an avacado... and some ice and some liquid and that is a power drink made from Heaven. Suppliments do not work otherwise the world would be skinny. You must watch what you eat and you must exercise ... THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT.

Stop eating processed foods and anything that has sugar in the first 5 ingredients. If you are not exercising, get out and walk at least 30 minutes a day. You should lose at least 20 pounds by simply doing this.
Basically what you're doing is eating 3 servings each of veggies, fruits and proteins per day.
I also use whole psyllium powder every day. I lost 21 pounds between Aug 31 and Nov 31. And yes, we ate ben and jerry's and pizza. Had I not I'd have lost more, but now the New Year is here I'm getting back on track and hope to lose another 20 pounds by summer.
Good luck.

I've never used a supplement. They make me nervous. My husband recently lost about 30lbs in 6 months by becoming a vegetarian. He likes a LOT of vegetables, as well as tofu and cheese and other protein sources, so this was a good option for him. I have a goal of losing 2lbs/month this year and I'm going to make small but important changes - regular exercise, smaller portions, and reducing snacks. I don't believe in completely eliminating the foods I like, because that just makes me want them more.
Another reason I think the lifestyle change is better than the supplement direction is that the lifestyle change is an ongoing thing. If you don't change your behaviours, once you stop taking the supplements, the weight comes back.
Good luck!
