Wedding Venue Ideas

My daughter is getting married!!! They are having a private immediate family only ceremony with dinner for the family afterwards. We are at a loss as to where to have this. Most places are for big weddings. There will be about 25 people tops. So my question: what are your ideas? The wedding date is soon, March 5th so indoors would be needed. Im hoping I will get some good ideas thanks in advance! OH, and we are open to traveling a little bit so outside the metro area would be fine.

What can I do next?

In Case Como Conservatory is booked, try Dodge Nature Center in West St. Paul. They have a beautiful space.

K&J Catering in North St. Paul has a very nice smaller room. We had our reception there and loved it.

Maybe a winery that has an indoor area.

I had my small ceremony and reception at earle brown heritage center. They did a nice job. :)

Try the Como Park Conservatory (Sunken Garden). They can't really hold more than 25 people---but it's absolutely beautiful! And the pictures that you'll get will be amazing with the gorgeous flowers already there. (No need to spend any money on decorations). Afterwards, try having the dinner at a nice restaurant. I've done weddings at the Conservatory and receptions at W.A. Frost. Very elegant. (ps. I'm a musician and I'm often hired to play at the conservatory, you can email me if you have questions!)

My stepdaughter got married at the Loring Pasta Bar in Minneapolis. Their website has pictures:

There were about 25-30 people there and it was a nice sized room for that number and the food and service was excellent!
