Wedding Anniversary, Need Uggestions

We are having a terrible time finding a place to hold a 50th wedding anniversary. We have ran into every problem that seems possible! Either the resturant isn't open on Sundays, won't hold over 50 people, won't let you bring in a cake ext.

We are looking for a resturant so we can do buffet style meal.
Somewhere that will allow a cake, either brought in or made there.
That'll hold 75-100 people.
That's Open on Sundays
And doesn't close at 3 on Sunday's!

oh yeah and a place that doesn't cost more then 20/meal!

We live in the Elkhart, IN and are willing to go to Mishawaka, South Bend, Bristol, Middlebury, Granger.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!! All ideas welcome : )

Thank You

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

I think we've figured it out! The Elkhart River Queen!!!!!

Try contacting Honkers on Day Rd. IN Mishawaka. They have banquet rooms. I had my rehersal dinner there and we had a buffet style and was reasonably priced. I don't know about the cake, but you could ask. I think they are open on Sundays too.

Well forget the restuarant. It is too confining for that big of crowd. We did our parent's 50th at Heaton Lake and it was awesome. We had appr 100 guests. Kids got to swim and grown-ups were all mingling. Most stayed all day but some just came and went. We found someone to cater a B-B-Q dinner and was cheaper than what you would pay at a restuarant and then have to add tips. Their 55th we did at Ox Bow. You could check with like the DAV or Eagles those places, their halls are big enough and they may even do the food. Good luck and best wishes to the Bride & Groom.

Hi K.
Congratulations to the Groom and Bride for such a big time together, they really deserve the best party. Have you check with the Tippicanoe Restaurant in So. Bend, I dont' know their hours, but I know that they are open on Sundays and their brunch is excellent. Other option can be The Club Landing on Lincoln Way in South Bend that is a big club I know that they even used to have live music on Thursday nights, and is pretty big, so your guests will not be squeezed on a place, it has a big porch outside that maybe if the weather is good you can enjoy it and has a view to the river. I think that just calling and asking is not going to hurt.
Good Luck!!!

Have you thought about checking out your parks dept? I had a party for my husband last year at the park by Elkhart Hospital and had it catered. The kids were able to play outside, the pavilion was renovated last year and looks great. And it fit into my budget

Mishawaka Brewing Company Restaurant is open on sundays until 11pm. You could try calling them. Have you tried Columbo's or Davincis Restaurants? I don't know what their hours are but ususlly they have family seating for larger parties. Too bad it wasn't on Saturday, you could go to the Essenhaus. I hope you find a nice restaurant.

it isn't the grandest of places, but we just had a birthday party for a friend of mine with 54 guests. At Ryan's on CR 6. I don't know about the cake, but if you haven't tried there already calling can't hurt! They did have us in a separate room in the far end of the restaurant. Good Luck!

Have you tried Old Country Buffet, or Ryans. They are both open on Sundays and I know they both have banquet rooms. Are you K. Gulbranson? I hope things work out.
