One of the best books has been Annabel Karmel's "First Meals" for me. It goes until they are young kids but starts at 4 months. My son has enjoyed so many great tastes and he's only 9 months old! It's great to make healthy and cheap meals for them instead of fast food/or jar food. You'll love this book for it's extreme knowledge on calories/vitamins/allergies and more!

I don't know if you've heard of Pampered Chef, but we have a kids cookbook and it is very cute. All of the idea's are easy and fun for the kids. It a easel design with a laminated cover and stain resistant pages. It costs $15.50 plus tax. Let me know if your interested.
Thanks,
