We Need to Fill in Our Pool as Soon as Possible!

Does anybody know of a reliable pool company who demolishes pools? Our pool is in poor shape and we plan to fill it in and lay down sod so that we can sell the property. We would like to have this done as soon as possible.

What can I do next?

A client of mine (I am a Realtor)has done all the research on this and is using the pool division of Larman Construction - ###-###-####. Their website is www.dallaspooldemolition.com. Good luck with your project!

Get the name of a particular pool company. Call the Better Business Bureau and inquire of the pool company's status. Or if you a truck with a pool company name on the side, inquire of their results. If they are seeking business, they will give you names/addresses of customers.

i am also going to suggest dallas pool demolition. we had them out to a house we were suppossed to purchase to give us an estimate. although the house deal fell through, i was very impressed with the pool removal company. what i liked the most about them is that they would completely remove your pool, not just punch holes in the bottom and bury it, which we thought would negatively afffect the resale of a home. they would also take a picture of the hole before covering it up for your records. and their estimate wasn't nearly as high as i would have expected, around $8,000 for a really, really big pool. their web address is:

good luck!

http://www.dallaspooldemolition.com/ did ours. We had our pool completely removed and then filled in.

Something you may want to consider if you plan on selling. Your value will go down if you don't completely remove it. They don't sub it out like a pool company may. They have all the heavy equipment needed to get the job done. It was a little over 6000 to get ours completely removed, filled, graded, and fence put back up and we could't be happier.

Well we could have if the pool repair co. hadn't ruined our pool making it necessary to demolish it.LOL btw. they wanted 4k more than dallas to demolish it and they said they would only charge us cost because you know...yeah right
good luck

I don't know of a company, but wanted to make sure you know that you must disclose to the buyer that a pool was filled in the yard. We bought a house where this was not done and it cost the seller's a pretty penny for not making the disclosure. Good luck on finding someone!
