Washing Machine Stopped Spinning!!
My washing machine gave out right in the middle of my weekly washing! It still agitates but it doesn't spin during the spin cycle any more! Has anyone experienced this before? What should I do? Should I buy a new washer or hire someone to fix it? Do any of you know of a good repair man that won't cost me as much as a new washer would? Thanks Ladies!

Same thing happened TWICE with our maytag washer years ago, the belt kept wearing out. After the second time I bought a front loader and haven't had any problems since.

Call Adam the Answerman. They can tell you what is wrong and how to fix it. Then you buy the parts from their store located at Plano and Forest.

We had the same thing happen to us a couple of years ago. There is a part that can be replaced instead of buying a new one. Call Adam the Answerman (he's in the book) in Garland and they are great at helping you figure out the problem over the phone and helping you get it repaired.
Good luck

Our washer recently started doing the same thing. I found, purely by accident, that if you start the spin cycle over, sometimes it will work. Good Luck!

We used this website when our washer did the same thing. Turned out it was a sock stuck somewhere.
