Wanting to Have a Baby

I have my tubes tied and my new husband and I are wanting to have a baby. I already have 2 girls from a previous marriage. We dont have alot of money and I did not know how well it took after you had them reversed. Is there any where i can get finacial help for doing this?

What can I do next?

I had my tubes tied after my 2nd child was born by c-section. I know my doctor said it was basically not reversible. He even asked me if I was absolutely sure before he did the 2nd tube. Maybe you could adopt iof you really want more kids.

I think that last comment was rude ( iam sorry ) but i dont think that way at all there could be endless reasons why people get there tubes tied and i am one who would love more kids but i had mine tied because of my kids medical conditions. but that doesnt men that everybody doesnt have the right to change there mind . I wish i could help with ur problem but when i read that last comment it just frustrarted me to think that someone could be rude about something like that.. I wish u nothing but the best for u and ur family

If you are sure this is what you want then GO FOR IT!!! Make sure it is though!! GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!!

Hey girl. I noticed your post and my friend just had invitro after her tubes were tied for 5 years (she is 3 months pregnant now). There are ALL types of medical financing programs available. Try Capital one. Or you could just google some. So you got your tubes tied. No biggie. You can have another child. You just have to find the right doctor. I heard that invitro is less and has a higher pregnancy rate than tube reversal. Don't listen to anybody out there who is negative. This is a decision only you and your husband have to make. And if you have made up your mind then research it and find some financing. You CAN do it!

hi K., I have a sister that had a reversal done after 2 children I dont know about the financial part but the baby is fine.and now she is pregnant again with a 4th

I was in the same position as you about 10 years ago.got divorced, remarried, and wanted to have a baby with my new husband. There is no financial help for this and insurance will not pay. Also it depends on how they were tied. My dr. told me the way he tied mine would be easy to reverse and I would probably be pregnant in a month. The bad news was the price. It was about ten thousand dollars and that was 10 years ago. Also I wish doctors would not give in and tie them so easy when you are young and only have two kids. I could see it if a person was real young and had 5 or 6 kids. If I had it to do over I would not have tied mine. But I was not able to pay for mine, so I have to be content with what I have. Good luck to you.
