Want to Know Other Moms Experience with the Chinese Gender Calendar
Hi!! This is kind of silly,,but the current research Ive done (asking friends and family) have proven this calendar very accurate. So I want to hear more. Go to this website http://www.chinesefortunecalendar.com/PredictSex.htm or if you prefer others, just do a search for chinese gender calendar (there are a lot out there), it will ask you your age during conception and the month you conceived,,then it will tell you what you should have.
I have two boys,,both were predicted correctly,,and I am pregnant again,,and again it says a boy,,,,,I really want a girl.
So definitely write back if it predicts wrong for you,,,,that way I will have hope for a girl. :-) But either way I want to hear.
Thank you
So What Happened?™
Thanks to everyone thats been responding,,I love reading all of the different outcomes! I will definitely let everyone know what I end up having as soon as I find out. Thank you!

I did it and it was accurate for me. The chart said I was going to have a little girl and I had one on 8-15-06. Sorry about that.

Mine so far is accurate 2 out of 3 and I am expecting my fourth and it says it will be a boy and thats what I would like since I have 1 son and two daughters. According to the calendar I should have three girls and expecting my first son... We will see find out in a week. Though I would have to say I am looking forward to it just being healthy, and then the added bonus would be the calendar being right :)

Hi J.,
I have 2 kids: boy 10 & girl 7. The chinese calander got them both wrong. It had them switched around.... I wouldn't put too much stock into it. There is ALWAYS hope (for a girl). I found the most predictable way to tell what you are having is by what you are eating. Craving mostly meat: boy, fruits & veggies: girl. Best of luck to you!

I have four kids and the calendar was wrong for 2 and 4. I have 2 boys, then a girl and then a boy. It has just as good a chance of being right as flipping a coin. =) Try the pencil test. It was right for me every time. Stick a threaded needle into the eraser end of a pencil with a tip. Lie on your back and hold the thread, dangling the pencil over you belly. If it goes in a line, it is a boy; if it goes in a circle, it is a girl. You can also hold it over your wrist, or anyone's for that matter, and it should predict all the children you will have with a pause between each. It even works on the guys. =) Have fun! And good luck getting a princess. They are fun, but, wow, high maintenance compared to the boys. hehehe

I'm due this year and it predicts a boy. I have a daughter already and using her information it predicted accurately. I also used a friend of mine's info (as best I could w/re: to conception) and it predicted a boy, which she already knows she is having...I'm interested in finding out whether it's accurate myself.
...It's a girl, not accurate for me this time!

Not accurate. I had a daughter and then a son. I entered the info for both children and the chinese calendar said that I was going to have a son first and then a daughter. I wouldn't rely on it at all.

Wow, I guess it was actually right for me. When I did it with another chart, I did not realize that my chinese age is different from my actual age, so I thought that it was wrong, but I put my chinese age into this one and it was right!

Mine says I should have a boy, which is incorrect. It was right with #1(boy), wrong with #2(girl), and wrong again with #3(girl). It's just something for fun, and you're chances of it coming out right are 50/50, the same as what you're chances are with out finding out with a sono. I have two boys and would have been happy with another boy, my husband wanted to find out the sex this time around. It is a blessing just to have happy, healthy children, regardless of sex. I don't believe that you will love this child any less.

It was wrong for my three children . My mil and her family do this weird needle test. Tread a piece of string with a needle. Need a person to Rub the side of your hand with the string then hold out your hand and hang the needle almost on top of your hand if it circles it's a girl/ if it up side to side it's a boy. This predicted corrctly for my boy/girl/girl but it also predicts another boy. My husband got fixed last year so we are going to divorce, I'm going to cheat lol not, or my husband is going to get it reversed!!! Don't know about all this predicting. I just know GOD has a plan for me. lol
Hope you the very best,
L.

My mom is absolutely convinced with the chinese gender chart she has done it for every person she knows and it is usually correct. I actually watched a program on a doctor who was doing research on different methods for determining gender and the chart was one. She found it to be correct about 80% of the time which means there is a whopping 20% on our side!! I am expecting my second and am really wanting a girl, the chart says its a boy. However, my mome, the ultimate believer in the chart believes its wrong, she says it is too close to call. So you have hope that it is wrong!!! Im hoping for the 20% to be on our side!!!!

I saw this in a pregnancy magazine when I was pregnant. It was accuate for me, predicted a boy and it was. I just looked at the one from you link, and it asked for day of conception, the one I did when I was pregnant didn't, because I am not sure of the exact date. But, yes, it was correct for me.
