Want Recommendations on Carpet Cleaning

Help! I've been meaning to get my carpet professionally cleaned for awhile but now I've got company coming Monday so I'd like to get it cleaned Friday. Anyone have suggestions on reliable, reasonably priced carpet cleaning? The carpet is about 7 years old, about 1600 sq ft to clean. Also, opinions on the extra services--scotch-guarding, pretreat etc. It seems like the total cost can get driven up so quickly with all the extras. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I use Nick Dear & am very happy with his services. His company name is Clean-N-Dry Carpet & has very good prices. His office # is ###-###-#### & his cell # is ###-###-####.

I work in apartment office and we use Three C's Carpet cleaning. I have also had them come to my home. They are great. They save carpet that others have told us needed to be replaced. I have used them for many years. They have a website and their phone is ###-###-####. Try to request Ryan he is the best.

I own a professional carpet cleaning company. Although we are already booked on Friday, the best advise I can give you is to make sure they are Truck Mount Hot Water Extraction, performed by a trained and IICRC tech. That will ensure you don't get ripped off, and you get what you paid for. Shaw, Mohawk, and Dupont the 3 leading carpet manufacturers ONLY recommend Hot water extraction. You can visit my website at www.LoveYourCarpets.com for a free consumer awareness guide. It will give you several questions to ask a company before you invite them into your home. Scotchgaurding is important, and needs to be reapplied every 12 months or so, because it does wear off. It prevents spills for saturating your carpet fibers, and can minimize the risk of permanent stains. You should expect to pay around .20 - .25cents per square foot in addition. You should not pay extra for preconditioner, whatyou called pretreat (the products used to actually clean the carpet fibers), the normal spot treatments (you should pay extra for pet treatment), and neutralizing rinse. This is where unethical carpet cleaners bait you with a low price over the phone, and get you while they are in your home and you are stuck! Look at my consumer awareness hotline! It will help you choose the right cleaner. In today's economy consumers are wanting to make sure they get the most value for their dollar - make sure you don't spend $10 to save $5! Any other advise you need, please feel free to email me.

I would HIGHLY recommend Travis Carpet Cleaners - they are inexpensive but do an AWESOME job. It is not some giant company that sends out random people to your house. It is a LOVELY family that relies upon referrals so they do a fabulous job. I have used t hem for the past 6+ years and have referred 100's of people to them! It is hard to find someone who does a great job at a reasonable price. I priced others first (our house is about 3200 square feet) and was getting estimates of $500+ to get the house done and Travis did it (including my kitchen rugs, front entry rugs and stairs) for around $200.

I have used Garcia's Carpet Cleaners for years and many of my friends use them. They are reasonable and I think they would work with you to get you scheduled.
